Anybody know about the job security Pat Mata'utia? I can't even tell the brothers from each other!

Don't be too concerned only Buhrer and possibly Lussick will be playing first grade. Luke Burgess doesn't belong in first grade

JNiko to the bench has forced my hand and traded in TMM for him. Neither Gavet or BLaw are playing this week so that can just be pushed back to next

Kane Linnett out for 2 - 4 weeks. Cowboys can't field their GF 17 anymore

(a) J. Trbo in - leaves 15k so will limit my future trade targets or
(b) Mataora - leaves 128k so provides more flexibility
The natural choice is (a) but Mataora is basically 1ppm, loves tackling & is real busy. He averages about 10 pts less than J. Trbo who plays 80 mins.
If you get Mataroa you'll probably want to trade him out in a couple of weeks

What happened to Carter last night? I missed the game as I'm away.

Gave away penalties, coughed up the ball on his own try line leading to a try, other knock ons, was generally a headless chook! Coach yanked him late second half I think, and he didn't come back on. I'd say he has lost his starting spot.

That sucks. At least he's still making cash.

This week yes. But if he starts from bench next week and has a break even of 20 or something his money making days are potentially over, and may even begin to lose cash from the bench. May need to be traded out pretty quickly I fear.

Might see Kalyn Ponga get a run, particularly if Coote isn't gonna be at the club next season. He will be a tackle breaking machine

Tmm or hastings for last reserve? Hastings must be in for some attacking stats soon?

Omit one - B. Barba, M. Gordon, J. Mansour, and L. Mitchell

That may be answered for you if Mitchell is out. I would be omitting Barba if all fit vs storm. Mansour may also struggle against defensive dragons.

Mitchell is very common as is Barba. They are low risk to keep in the team.
I like Gordon over Mansour but that can easily go either way.
I would probably omit Barba due to matchup.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
Fergs vs barba for last slot in 17.
Obviously barba is in better form, but with him against storm i see him getting 30....unless he gets a try.
Fergs at the moment is about as useful as tits on a bull but against a restructured manly pack who's edge defense is swiss cheesy at time he could go alright...

Any locals got a suggestion for a good pub in the city to watch the games tonight?
The fox in the viaduct was my go-to. Watched the Warriors beat the storm in 2011 to take a spot in the GF there.
