So just following on with the Hoppa story - what if the Dogs make the GF? That's on a Sunday.

Man, if DCE only misses 3 rounds...
That is nowhere land
2 rounds I would hold; 4 rounds I would sell.
Fuck you, DCE!

how much time out for a dislocated thumb? I guess it's circumstantial... but a week or two? no time?

Doggies play RD10, 11, 12 on Sunday as well I'm pretty sure.Honeysett wrote:So just following on with the Hoppa story - what if the Dogs make the GF? That's on a Sunday.
The days for games from RD21 onwards don't show on the NRL website yet

I dislocated mine last year playing. If there is no break he will be right to go this week. If there is a hairline fracture somewhere it's 6 weeks

how does that leave your halves looking
not super fantastic but I do have Norman there, 2nd half would just be whoever I feel comfortable running between Barba, Hastings & Taylor... Barba's my 3rd starting WFB at the moment anyway, so it would basically just be swapping DCE's points for Dugan's

What's peoples thoughts on what would happen if trades were not limited to two per round and you could use as many as you want every week. Still only 34 for the season though. Can see both pros and cons for it.
Pro. Early on you can deal with both injuries, missed cows and failed mid rangers. Will hurt you later in season though if you burn too many trades early and don't have any left. Although at least your season is not over before it barely begun.
Con. Possibly more similar teams earlier on in the season.

Will never happen
2 trades a week gets the casuals logging in giving the page hits every week. They would all use their 34 trades within 5 weeks and never be back

I remember playing the Foxsports comp a few years ago where they had a wildcard you could use only once a season with unlimited trades for that week.DarkKnight wrote:What's peoples thoughts on what would happen if trades were not limited to two per round and you could use as many as you want every week. It would be an interesting concept.

Just because they are casuals doesn't mean they are stupid. They still want to do well and win leagues etc. If they use lots of trades early they will probably score well initially and fade late in the season with the lack of trades. So possible casuals could even stick around longer.

Don't get me wrong if people want to burn trades getting the likes of Greg Bird and Greg Bird after round 1 I won't care

Yeah the wildcard worked well for that comp but I wouldn't like to see it for fantasy.
All the smaller comps have disappeared, it sucks. Used to be sportsbet, fox sports, bet365, centrebet, ninemsn, footy tips and sportal fantasy.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
fuck sake Cartwright and DCE will have to miss out on BLaw
trades when injury news gets confirmed
Carty - Parker
DCE - Mbye or Hunt if I can afford him with the first trade leftovers

A wildcard would make things real interesting.
Wildcard early to get the price rises, or wait until after origin to get your best 17 ASAP.
Would reward those who got initial team selection right and city's good off on the early wildcard

Not panic trading DCE out. Still a top 17 player and I have plenty of depth to cover. Surgess in for Carter and BLaw in for DCE. Leaves Saifiti and Ash Taylor as 18/19
Need to find a way to grab JDB this week. Going to average 55+ playing lock for 80 every week and did not look tired at all

Shot of Cartwright shown seated on the sideline not long after commentary said he was off to hospital in an ambulance, I'm assuming that's what TBO meant by that.
