7 of their top 30 are utility halves or halves

Taaffe, Hutchison, Salmon, Oloapu (injured), Mann, Sexton, Burton

Who'd play in the halves at the Dogs?

Probably all of them at one point or another...
It looks like a rotating door halves roster where no-one is good enough to lock down a spot... except maybe Burton who probably is still the best of the bunch.

Maybe Sexton and Hutchison (if someone lets them know that he scored 102 fantasy points that one time)

Doueihi injury had him out until July I’m pretty sure, the ACL was an 14-16 month injury due to repeated surgeries

On paper Sezer and Sullivan is a decent half pairing

Yep. Although Tigers had piccies of Doohickey today at training looked pretty encouraging.

Probably both decent value fantasy wise. Sezer will kick the piss out of the ball and Sullivan is a decent defender + good ball runner. Probably see a 45 average for Sezer and an eratic 35-40 for Sullivan

Could be back to the Sezer/Kelly days of 2 cheap halves from the same team perhaps

Depends what they price Sezer at. No confidence they'll let him come in cheap.

Last few years the algorithm for ESL players seems to have pushed their prices up.

    Milne DPP ?

South Sydney Rabbitohs winger Taane Milne has revealed that he is open to moving into the forward to accommodate the arrival of new signing Jack Wighton.

Swap deal, or just an outright signing?

I just don't get why the Tigers would throw a huge chunk of their cap at Luai. They have some serviceable halves, but ver weak outside backs, even with Olam. A good lock would help too.

A for winning fans back on side, paying millions to a kid whose primary talent is instagram is odd.

I'm quite happy for it to fall over too; I guess they're paying premium for a bit of arrogance with a touch of sass

Mind you, it makes more sense than throwing almost as much at Bradman Best - I mean at least Luai tends to play most games and creates more opportunities in attack... so from that perspective it could be worse, maybe?

Luai on his own I don't think is as good as people think he is or he thinks he is for that matter

Yeah, Best didn't feel like a good call either.

And I think Luai's really depending on a couple of Samoa games to shake the flat track bully Cleary shadow label. But NRL games are much better coached and trained than RLWC matches, and he's going to look like a 650k player in 6 months

Luai is a bit of a dick, and overrated. But one other thing is that he is a winner, and that's something the Tigers could do with. Probably not worth paying ridiculous stupid money for though.
I guess hoping he and Koro can spark a connection to get us some points would be the master plan.
