The last part is definitely true, but you still have to bring the goods, but maybe just wasn't quite good enough to warrant big minutes?
Always struck me as that good club player tradesman type - looks like the sort of guy that Flanagan would like

I don't want to read in to it too much (as it's probably just the marketing team not knowing jack shit - pun intended, not to say Jack's you know.. shit...), but the Dragons website squad has Jack Bird listed as a Centre...
Maybe it's because his last outing was at Centre? maybe Flanno has plans...

Slightly better than BMM but has the feel of one of those guys thats been around for a while, moves teams and gets big mins at the start of the year (Scores 45 rd 1 and then scores between 25-35) then gradually fades towards being a benchie as the season progresses

Andrew Davey, Robbie Rochow, BMM etc etc

I’ve got 4 players in my head in my side currently Cleary, Haas, Fogarty and J. Campbell

Where does everyone sit on Schuster?

And could it be worth going a bit cheaper at hooker?

As always the centre conundrum go cheap or go one expensive and one cheap

Do you see Campbell starting at fullback and holding it?

If they don't misprice Schuster and he starts at EDG, he will be 15-20 points under-priced. Probably retains HLF dual as well.

CTR screwed me last season, really tempted to go double gun that both don't play Origin and buy value in other positions.

Not sure I can go with HSS or Talau and get crap scoring again. Talau was so frustrating last season, even when he was playing, he was deliberately trying to make big hits and just bouncing off for a missed tackle often.

Hey mate yes I think J. Campbell is the preferred FB and I think he’s good enough to hold it.

They will mark Schuster up mate and compare his avg to games on the edge you know what they’re like no way we get him that cheap.

Talau nah mate do not think he’s worth the risk. HSS as well mightn’t make the Titans best backline.

Be interesting what the Knights do whether Jenkins plays or Malpapalangi or whether they have someone like Hymel Hunt there I’m not quite sure.

If I recall Knights have no byes first 10 rounds or so, so might be good to pick 2-3 of them up if there is value.

Be interesting to see what they price Tyrone Munro at for Souths. We do have Manly, Broncos and Rorters to start with though. Wighton back round 3 too only person I can see challenging Munro for the right wing spot is whether they move Tass there or not. Munro is ahead of Thompson and Milne.

P.S. no way I’ll start with Turbo not doing that again!

Hard to know what to do with centres this far out, but there may be a couple of position-change options that will be expensive but still good value and set and forget... Crichton if he's a goalkicking fullback, Lomax ditto, Aitken if he goes back to 2RF. Will be hard not to start with a couple of them and lock points in if that pans out, and put any base price moneymaking centres in the 18-21.

I'll be starting the 2 cheapest starting centres with any sort of job security that don't have history of being fantasy spuds.

Or whatever the community team does

Dylan Lucas could be a great CTR option, if he gets that again as dual next season. Expect he should be getting the Fitzgibbon position. Should get a limited game number discount and averaged 52 at EDG.

Has there been updates other than people calling it out? Saw the post and what he said and if he’s targeting the community then yeh that’s fucked, but it seemed to me that context is probably needed, because to call a spade a spade - it is an embarrassing post, insinuating that in order to support the LGBTQ+ community, you have to use coddling and infantilising language and basically treat them as if you are talking to or about children, is really patronising and gross and does no good for anyone it’s supposed to be appealing to.

to me he said he supported their right to be who they are but when it's pushed onto you then he disagrees & he highlighted concerns like the reading material that are accessed by children in schools

I have a feeling that the powers-at-be will decide he is an Edge only as all his starts this year were on the edge.
I may be remembering this incorrectly, but I thought the limited game discount had largely disappeared with the pricing this year? - I feel like they're just as likely to exclude his low minutes bench game, and price him at a 50s average.

Happy days if he's available as a Centre in fantasy and priced below 40 and gets a starting edge spot...

They've certainly been a lot harsher on limited game discounts in recent years, so I am not even looking at any predicted prices so as not to get my hopes up about bargains just to have my dreams shattered when the fanhub tax comes in,

He probably would have slid through the cracks, but now theyve seen these posts and made a note to change him to EDG only.

    Cheers
