We'd probably have to also exclude people who create a new account on here in the next few weeks (and don't post anything), to stop any shenanigans from our own members

I reckon it would be pretty easy for ynot to remove any outliers that were obviously dodgy?

We can't use the NRL Fantasy AI that @SI has been working on in the offseason?

I heard a rumour that @SI is sick of us freeloading off his technical know how and is going to set up a tiered subscription service to access an API........he reckons Butters is on to something and you can make a living fleecing a bunch of shit stirring troglodytes on an outdated platform

Would guess he ends up closer to 30 than 50. Probably needs more than 3-4 games to make decent bank.

I like the look of his 200m average in QCup (mostly on par in small sample with the 3 40 min+ games with 167m average)

Kinda ends up like a Trindall last year potentially where it’s a sketchy timeframe of return and it’s either R1 or never as using 2 trades in a short timeframe on him probably not ideal. Trindall got around 140k in 3 games with a 47 average

Team, Life is throwing a bit of shit my way at the moment, would anyone like to take over the Autofill League, at least for this season?

Can’t be running both Kini and Weekes/Stewart at WFB, I assume most will go back to a high end pick- Ponga v Teddy v Turbo discussion is in vogue! bounce WFB is suddenly looking a little shaky for slam dunks, there is a certain allure to just picking Ponga and backing the Knights to replicate their end of season form. Teddy is undervalued after a long 2023 stinking up my fantasy team, and the Roosters (surely) get back to their best. Or can Turbo finally replicate his Fantasy feats of 2021? Not a rhetorical, the answer is no.

That’s a shame, you’ve been a fine admin. I was planning to retire as champion, give someone else a chance in 2024, but if you don’t get other takers could run the comp

    Why not?

Stewart and Kini both fairly solid RM + TB bases in cup should have them around mid 30s

Savage seems to be viewed as winger. Weekes I’d be less confident starting on what we’ve seen so far.

Just got Kayo back for footy season

Was looking for stuff and they’ve got a 1990s Simply the Best show, which is basically like directly programming for me.

Started with the 1994 episode cos it had the Steelers… drew 26-26 at Penriff. McGregor and Wishart combined for a 95m try which may have been the most arousing thing I’ve seen this Valentines Day.

Then the second part was Bulldogs towelling up Souths. Terry Lamb in jersey 55. Alan Jones coaching Souths which I’d forgotten about.

Over in 26 mins, 5/5 would recommend.

I don't like exposing myself to too many potential duds or unknown quantities. I will no doubt have them all somewhere in my 18-21 though. I’ve foreseen this in a Truedream- I run Kini and Stewart with a pair of cheap centres, then Paps gets blitzed by Penrith and my entire backline posts 82 points for round 1. No thank you Sir, not me, no way.

If you have a means of watching ye olde school video tapes, I would recommend checking ebay for "NSWRL VHS"

They used to do heaps of great videos in the 90s. I've got the 200 Magic Memories series around. My favourite videos were when they released a video that was nothing except the best tries scored that year. Ran from 1998 to 2002 I think.
There were some cracking tries in that era.

When things moved to DVD they produced a couple of season highlights, then switched to just highlights for the premiers games, then stopped altogether

In 2005 there was both a Tigers season highlights, plus an NRL highlights video
The NRL highlights did not include this try What a rort that was.

Seems like there will be a focus this year by refs on teams running past the point of the play the ball as the their team kicks. This could mean more kick return metres for wingers and fullbacks.

So for the degens/addicts here, whats of interest tonight:

    -papys return
-hutch/burton workloads, if youre keen on hutch youd want a lot of general play kicking
-is s hughes the next haas

Thats probably about it really. Might watch the first 20 mins if im home (ill probably be home)

Maybe Loiero is a smokey for 50 average this year playing HYBRID role starting lock, shift wide late in game when Blore is tired. Not going to see that in a trial tho
