Pretty keen. Couple of errors, but gonna happen when you're involved a lot.

Lock him in at 670k with the Papster. Still need a 3rd WFB amongst all the junk. Hopefully the Chevy fires up first start.

Yeah I was gonna give him a miss after last year's disastrous start and a number of cheap WFBs going well, but 670k instead of 770k+.. and I'm not liking the look of the cheaper WFBs this year. Arthars, Taaffe and Weekes probably duds, and can't really trust Ricky to give Chevy a string of games as a starter.

Theres 2 or 3 players that might start in round 1 for manly playing today ?

Full strength available MIDs except for Jurbo.

Brown played lock in their full strength trial game.

I held him all year last year so a 49 average isn’t the worst to cop. Always backs up after Origin too

Considering Kini, maybe Sivo. Raiders cheapies are popular too I guess but all question marks

Billy smith is tempting me to get him for the third year in a row. Fantasy relevant style of play if the Rooster can not suck to start the year. Hard to get 10 points of value out of him though.

Yeah luckily I didn't trade him right before origin, when he suddenly kicked back into gear.

Kini's on the watchlist for Rd 3 for me. Feels too risky to start with him and could be forced to trade another WFB in for Rd 2 if whichever cheapie doesn't stick around.

Sivo's not a bad shout though, will watchlist him too. Was looking at Kiraz, but might be priced accordingly.. need to see how Dogs are gonna line-up too.

When Hammer is a similar price point it is hard to go with Smith. Of course it depends if/where you play Hammer.

Really looking forward to this game - time to get a look at the highest scoring CTR by the end of the year

Kiraz only really relevant if he gets CTR imo. Sivo bounce back is due to historic 2nd year after ACL performance and Eels have a good draw (but this doesn’t always help)

Backs in general are dire aside from Pap. Hoping Aitken gets an edge start for CTR, otherwise maybe Penisini

Sivo's pretty consistently gotten to $500k+ after ~10 games every season. Has dipped below 400k a couple of times too, but the upside is there if you're patient. Pretty tempted at $429k now you've put him on the radar.

Penis looks a good pick of the premium CTRs. Too rich for my blood though. Talakai at 509k or Xerri 450k is probably as high as I can stomach. Dual 250ks is more my go Twisted Evil

Hammer obviously a better footballer but Hammer does limit how many other (non origin playing) Dolphins you can take to start the season with the early bye.

They basically have the same average as last year, is Hammer more likely to improve on what was a decent year last year for the dolphins or is Billy Smith likely to do better if you think the Roosters might start stronger this year? I don't know.

Billy might not even start the season though and I'm still hoping, like everyone else, some cheap centres pop up. Also prefer Penisini over either of them.

Weekes looks to have spent lots of time in the gym. Should help him on defence.

I would prefer the cheap CTRs don't show up. Makes creating a balanced side easier when you need to spend some cash there.

21 midrangers has never been a viable strategy

Do you mean harder? Isn't it easier to set up your team how you want with more money to spend elsewhere?
