I wonder if Ivan names the WCC squad today. 4 days prior like last year perhaps. Hoping for some Alamoti at CTR action. Surely worth a few points moving from Dogs to Panthers. Just gotta catch the ball and fall over for a bag of tries.

Bigger question is whether the Tigers play with a utility on the bench or not. Arguably that is a bigger impact than the goalkicking (he already has ~1 goal a game priced in due to part time kicking last year)

How many tries per game do the Tigers average? 0.5?

Gives me even less confidence picking raiders outside backs, if even Ricky has no idea who lines up in R1 and then the R2 lottery when Kris needs to fit in somewhere.rhinoceroo wrote:Raiders update. It's all pretty confusing, but my main takeaway is that Rapana is favourite to be fullback in R1, unless someone absolutely kills it in a trial against the full -strength Cowboys. Sucks for fantasy. Number 6 still a straight shoot-out. Cotric maybe on the outer or maybe not. No clarity on hooker.

Lucy has been confirmed to the dragons on a 3 year deal.
Makes sense as to why he wasn’t named in the line up for the cows.

RFM stocks go from bad to worse. I punted him yesterday and probably not even worth watchlisting now.

Can imagine Eisenhuth is pretty pissed off, seeing Bradley named at EDG for Storm and Lucy coming to Dragons.

Both people shooting to play next to him played about equally, makes sense to let them both have another go in a trial match.

Wait just to clarify - based off what Milch said, it's fine to use nrl fantasy or sc draft and just manually decide "you get to keep x players for the next season" and then draft from that point on the next season right?
Would def prefer to use one of these 2 platforms just to keep guys who aren't fantasy obsessed but know one of the 2 main platforms engaged for multiple years!
In my experiecne there is always some clown (often me) that accidentally drafts another teams keeper. Those other platforms enable an admin to stop the draft, and remove the pick. Not sure how good NRL Fantasy or SC draft platforms are for that.
If you're very clear on "1st x number of rounds to draft your agreed keepers" and how everyones keepers are it should be ok.

I mean he might start slow with some 30’s and be rusty. Could be a bit underdonemattnz wrote:

Pretty sure Eisenhuth isn't a long term answer at EDG for any club in the NRL. He's probably happy to just be playing?

That assumes Ricky starts him. Shouldn't be as rusty in Canberra as on the Gold Coast with the salt air.

He definitely on the "journeyman provides solid backup 1 year deal"

I think he's been bought to be in the MID rotation and add some experience. Probably offers a bit of relief for JdB, so he doesn't play huge mins every week, as well as meaning rookies like the Couches aren't just thrown to the wolves with 30-50 mins every week when they aren't ready.

Yeah I don't think he was ever looking to secure a long-term starting role and I doubt it was sold to him as that. If Lucy doesn't come, he's just a seatwarmer for Egan or whatever kid comes next.
