I think yes. Has been training both sides for 2RF and centre. imo that indicates he's going to be on the bench sooner rather than later. Lemuelu still coming back from injury so I assume they'll be sharing minutes anyway.

I've come to the conclusion that the gun WFB route isn't the best way when I see the points in the MIDS/2RF. Hard to strike the balance, though. Seems we are all struggling to come up with a strong bench AND have some cash generation from 18-21.

With the bye in R3 it's possible to wait and see if he keeps the position and jump on for R4. There's an argument for just starting with him though, if named. Last game of the round is a bit of a pisser for Wayne switcheroos.

With Papy so cheap you are getting a certified WFB gun, so that softens the blow for me and gives me more confidence running 2 other cheaper options alongside

No idea how they're gonna line-up haha. Hopefully without Taaffe and with Tracey at 14 or not at all. Could punt Xerri next week to Suli/Montoya or downgrade someone and look at the 500k options.

Even if he makes it in R1, could easily be dropped early as Kiraz and Tracey return.

I don't mind him moving to ctr, he has always scored well there regardless or well enough that he probably doesn't become an instant trade out.

Just don't want him being a 1 week fill in Shocked

Rhino suggestion below makes sense on waiting, but I'm tossing up (no pun intended) Penis and Aitken and not overly keen on running 2 expensive CTRs so need to maje the decision on one or the other ideally

I see it the other way, you can spend up in WFB because there is lots of cheap value in MID/EDG

There is a world of hopium where both Roosters edges play 80. Butcher is definitely the guy who'll spell Radley at lock (he's been training there) plus takes some of Leniu's minutes, with a small stint for Whyte taking the rest. Collins and May split minutes 50/30. Both edges play 80. Easy.

More of a worry is what happend when JWH back. Whyte or May drop off the bench but also Nat probably starts second row. Guess I just trade out that guy, because no point guessing which one it'll be in advance.

Take both, trade one to Campbell in Round 3/4 if it's a disaster. That will definitely work out right  Cool

The weird thing about Wong, he has a huge motor, he's an 80 minute lock at NSW Cup level, so should be able to pump out 80 on an edge with ease.

Just to add to this, he's a 0.64PPM in both NRL and NSW Cup. So even if he gets 50 minutes, which is the worst case scenario, he's holding value.

Yeah I was just thinking this, don't think I have either. If there's anything to put in the pros column for Leniu it's that he's at a new club. But does new club = new role?

Roosters didn't sign the best impact forward in the NRL to turn him into a work horse

Rolling out something like this, so don't fuck up your Fantasy Fantasy teams. DK is ripe for the picking in L2.

Lol just saw promotion by Raiders sponsor if you guess the 13 correctly for next week you go into the draw for a signed jersey

Shows how much faith they have in people getting all of them right

Before you step away, you should know that Liddle is nursing an injury and may not be ready for Round 1.

Thanks mate. Just hope everyone is named to start now, especially Strange, Bradley and Salmon.. and someone cheap to take Galvin's place.

MS lukewarm take is that Wong didn't play bulk minutes last year because he was being eased into first grade. Occasionally young talented players get more minutes as they gain experience

I’ve currently got the Fleg in as can’t swing up to Cotter. Hopefully new club plus the unfortunate injury to Gilbert presents the opportunity to step up. That’s probably my most left field pick. I’m so boring

I ended up downgrading Fleg to Sitili. Could end up downgrading Cotter to Fleg next week though Laughing Figured I'd take the 2 rounds to have a look at Fleg and jump on Rd 4 if he's getting the minutes.
