Not that I'm lining up this way, but these are some of my current popular picks with >10% ownership (except Bradley who's just been added to the system)

    HOK: BSmith
    MID: Cotter, Tatola, SHughes
EDG: Piakura, Salmon (if starting LK)
    HLF: Cleary, Foggy, Hutchison, Flanagan
    CTR: Strange, Xerri
WFB: Papenhuyzen, Bradley (if starting EDG)

Probably gonna end up with one of Burbo or Arthars too I guess.

Locking in Cook and Teddy, and still juggling around the MID/EDG guys like Smithies (EDG, but playing LK), Flegler, Taumalolo, Sitili, Curran (if LK over Salmon), Luki, Blore..

Today might be TLT, but it feels very much like the Aldi version. Sure we get a few teams, but other than the Roosters back row, is there anything we are truly keen to know?

Nope. Just the Roosters back row and confirmation of Burbo and Piakura. I guess Broncos second prop but sounds like it's going to be Jensen.

I'd be surprised if Angus is named to start on the Edge

Flanno's half already, do you mean someone else? Not seeing anyone at a glance.

I had Cleary, Hutch and EMG Flanno originally, but have added Foggy now too. Hutch getting injured or dropped for Sexy would be a pain in the ass, so having a decent semi-gun half seems important. SOS, Foggy and BHunt look decent at midrange prices. Could make a case for SOS being tentative on return from injury last year, but either side of that, he scores well. Nothing wrong with BHunt either. Probably plays out the contract and maintains form for origin. Foggy with a history of averaging 50 and 47 last year wasn't bad. No Wighton, so might be more relied on in attack. He's another like Cotter that isn't huge value, but can hold down the spot and bridge the gap to Hynes if they can get over 700k.

Back on Hutch, it's really only injury, suspension or dropped that I'm worried about. Scoring and making money not so much. Bit like Tannah Boyd last year. More risky not to start with him imo.

I've been switching between Fog & SOS as 2nd starting half, with Hutcho as back-up.
SOS is still listed as injured, do we have any clear updates on him as I think he has a little more upside than Fog.

Who are we putting at 18 for first loop? Doubt it will be a Vegas player? Probably stick a Raiders player in there next week?

Yeah I hear ya, was pretty tempted to go SOS. He failed a HIA according to the match report, but I missed it. Was wondering why he was stuck on 1 point for so long until comms mentioned it. In the end I decided the early bye, and Foggy only 47k more is worth it to go with the crowd and boom/bust together. BHunt already 700k and kinda swore off him years ago because he's frustrating to watch in defence.

SOS was an HIA wasn't it? Given there's two weeks between games would expect he'll be ok if it wasn't out of the ordinary, but haven't seen confirmation.

Trouble is that Kris will be the red dot for a lot of teams, so can't loop normally with non-Vegas as he's first up (can do a convoluted centre loop, but doesn't really seem worth saddling yourself with enough centres to make that possible).

Unless... you weren't thinking of buying a Tiger were you?

*edit* oh wait, you probably mean an 18 who might score 80 points and you force a red dot in for one of your original picks... it's not very likely is it? Levi for a hat-trick.

A mate of mine who knows a lot about footy was talking up Galvin when we caught up at New Year's. He's a Raiders fan.

If you think you might own a Tiger, then put your worst Vegas player in 18 (maybe not if its Ben trobjevic)

Then use Tigers player to loop

Really Not sure how I feel about starting with players like Burbo, Kini, Palasia...

Kini Im mostly sold on, he definitely gets atleast 3 games. But Burbo and Palasia could be on the bench come round 2.
