Hmm interesting, I was keen before the injury.

    Or Strange starting CTR?

Or something else I'm missing? (likely)

I think I'm just going to go with Burbo in the 17 this week and wait on Aitken selection news. Pretty set on Simonsson as the second centre regardless but not set on having Burbo in my 17 every week. If Aitken doesn't get selected at 2RF I'll have to have another think, like Kris but getting the heebie jeebies about having too many Raiders

Quite like this team, a cheap WFB3 really helps stretch the last bit of money and I don't think I've ever not grabbed at least one cheapie there. Dropping Rapana to a Kini/Bradley (insert any other cheap WFB here) combo lets me squeeze in Harris as a second gun MID, love watching the bloke so might be worth it for funsies.

On a related note, I hate all the half options. Keep landing on Hutch as the second half but can't find a back up. Been playing with how to get Boyd into the team all morning.

Boyd does offer both back up half and Hooker options...have been seriously considering

Does everyone have a gameplan for:
    Weekes being picked over Strange
    Burbo only playing round 1
    Papy's round 4 bye

Concern for Simmo now is that he gets moved to the wing for Sivo with Morgan coming in.

I might have to start getting interested, but depends which side of the bed Ricky gets out of. If Weekes is so great, chuck him at FB.

Mitch Kenny will likely miss round 1 due to some boxing day shenanigans

There was some journo whinging about one of Wigan's players not being red-carded in their previous game to avoid suspension. Pretty much played the same trick with Kenny then.

    Atm I'm running

Burbo and Strange as centres with Papy, Teddy and Rapana as wfbs.

Have Cotric as backup ctr/wfb and Bradley as backup wfb(/2rf I guess).

If Weekes is picked over Strange, I probably downgrade Rapana to Weekes as 3rd wfb and run with someone like Simo (or try and find the extra 30k elsewhere for Aitken if he gets named) at centre.

Then if Burbo only plays R1, I could move Cotric there.

R4 then becomes a problem if Burbo is out because I can't use Cotric as he's already at centre, and Bradley would have the bye too (if he gets the spot at all) but I guess that's a future problem.

    Ah shit yeah.

What are the options? Simmo stays at left centre with Dunster wing, harper at centre Simmo wing? Anything else?

Thinking fuck it I'm just going to run with him, he's in the best 13 every week regardless of where he's picked and he's getting picked at CTR if Sivo isn't suspended (5-6 rounds this season? Very Happy)

Liked what I saw from him at the last season and he's a year older, combos etc etc

    Think that's a bit hopeful

Lemuelu came in late and started on preferred left in the trial. And don't see Felise Kaufusi getting dropped.

Will likely jump on if Aitken does get named, but not expecting it.

Have Suli/Strange with Burbo EMG with 168k ITB

If Strange not named, can upgrade to Kris if Burbo scores OK. If Burbo doesn’t score great, probably do some readjustment.

If Strange named, possibly upgrade Suli or spend cash elsewhere

    Full team:

    Cheese
    Murray Cotter Tupouniua
    Wong Piakura
    Cleary Fogarty
    Suli Strange
    Teddy Rapana Papenhuyzen

    Luki Lussick Hutchison Salmon
    Hughes Bradley Mikaele Burbo
