I think Aitken is a definite buy if named but it's a real dice roll with the 2 incumbents hanging around plus last game of the round.
The more I think about it the more it's a wait and see

Lemuelu came in late and started on preferred left in the trial. And don't see Felise Kaufusi getting dropped.
I would like Bradley to nab the EDG spot as it will solve the WFB3 selection issuewhall15 wrote:
Atm I'm running
Burbo and Strange as centres with Papy, Teddy and Rapana as wfbs.
Have Cotric as backup ctr/wfb and Bradley as backup wfb(/2rf I guess).
If Weekes is picked over Strange, I probably downgrade Rapana to Weekes as 3rd wfb and run with someone like Simo (or try and find the extra 30k elsewhere for Aitken if he gets named) at centre.
Then if Burbo only plays R1, I could move Cotric there.
R4 then becomes a problem if Burbo is out because I can't use Cotric as he's already at centre, and Bradley would have the bye too (if he gets the spot at all) but I guess that's a future problem.

Thinking fuck it I'm just going to run with him, he's in the best 13 every week regardless of where he's picked and he's getting picked at CTR if Sivo isn't suspended (5-6 rounds this season? )
Liked what I saw from him at the last season and he's a year older, combos etc etc
I've got RTS in the team atm, I was going to run with Cobbo, but I don't really like the Broncos opening run of fixtures.wolfking wrote:I might seriously run RTS at the back. Looked incredible and will surely get centre DPP. That's mighty enticing on its own.

this is a bit like weekes/strange in the trial. weekes played on the left which is the position up for grabs. strange played as the dominant half, but that's fog's job.
ricky makes curious calls at the best of times so neither selection at 6 will surprise me. just have to be prepared to adjust. have to take whichever is named and hope for the best.

Chasing a gun Mid and don`t love Murray.
Hopgood 43k cheaper and less of a chance to play origin.
I`m projecting them to both average around 60-65.
Interested to see which way others are leaning on here and why.
Cheers
Thinking Hopgood has more upside, feel like we've seen the best of Haas, not yet to see the best of Hopgood. The Goat Boys wrote:Haas vs Hopgood is a tougher decision then initially expected.

Hopgood cheaper.
Hopgood DPP.
Hopgood a maybe for origin, Haas a certainty.
Hopgood more fun to watch.

Do we think Hynes will drop in price or getting a better overall team (of middies)
or another keeper (Grant, tough draw / Ponga off perfect season)?
I think at least $100k in the bank will be a good idea.

Will likely jump on if Aitken does get named, but not expecting it.
