It's very fun to watch Haas scoring lots of points. What's not fun is not owning him while he's scoring them.
Enjoy lamenting every Hopgood offload and burrow over try. Guy tries harder than any bloke I've seen in a forward pack in a long time.

Death riding Haas is no fun, but my strategy has been to always avoid watching the Broncos play which has a net positive effect on my happiness.

Chasing a gun Mid and don`t love Murray.

Hopgood 43k cheaper and less of a chance to play origin.

I`m projecting them to both average around 60-65.

Interested to see which way others are leaning on here and why.

    Cheers

if you think they'll both average the same, get the cheaper one that doesn't play origin.

IMO Haas looks like the better scorer, although you do have to pay for it

I thought I was the only one with RTS, but looks like he's gaining popularity.

I also have Cobbo in my CTRs at the moment - not keen on relying on a roundabout of cheapies with uncertainty on their job security/ability

#TeamHaas here. And something about playing in the USA has me thinking he’ll boom to flex on American Football. Currently has the Captaincy for the Goodnight Kiwis

Yeah true. But I don't see a lot of value planning out my loops fir the next several weeks. It all gets messed up anyway. I'm an opportunistic looper. I'd rather just pick the better fantasy picks. That may or may not be Raiders.

    Are people going:
Gun CTR/Mid CTR, then Burbo and Strange both EMG, with the view of moving one of those starting CTRs to Kris if Burbo scores? So having 4 CTRs

    Or Strange starting CTR?

Or something else I'm missing? (likely)
If I take Ponga have to take Simo or Suli can’t afford Penisini.

I am going Hopgood. Will be ignoring the first Haas score on a small field, where he probably gets 75+, with the whole game being played in the middle of the field with a huge tackle count, more like a game of touch, trying to catch the opposition offside with quick play of the balls, rather than spreading it wide.

    Full team:

    Cheese
    Murray Cotter Tupouniua
    Wong Piakura
    Cleary Fogarty
    Suli Strange
    Teddy Rapana Papenhuyzen

What's so good about Ponga's draw that you mentioned before?

    Raiders
    Cowboys
    Storm
    Warriors
    Dragons
    Roosters..

No Tigers until Rd 10. Just grab him for the double tonne vs. Dragons in Rd 5 after he drops some cash

I didn’t mention Ponga draw must have been someone else.

Raiders, Cows, Dragons he should go big in those.

It’s just WFB looks so dire mate and I don’t like Turbo.

What do we project Haas at first half of the year and Murray? I’ll have a guess Haas 64 first half of year, Murray 59.

Anyway, yeah WFB is tricky. Pap, Teddy and Rapana for me, but Rapana will be first to get downgraded when TLT2 goes shit. I'd go with Latrell, Walsh, RTS or To'o if willing to spend that kinda cash for Ponga.

Ah the no [insert gun here] strikes again

Murray is basically in the same scenario as Haas was last year where he’s priced basically at his floor (57 BE)

    In games 50+ mins
    2021: 62.2 (65.8 mins). For 60+ mins 65.1 (69.7 mins)
    2022: 67.4 (70.2 mins). For 60+ mins 68.5 (72 mins)
    2023: 58.8 (69.6 mins). For 60+ mins 62.6 (72.8 mins)

ALL OF HAAS, HOPGOOD AND MURRAY ARE GOOD OPTIONS
