Historically by Round 5 most of us who aren't named Slats like to start saving trades as our teams are set. This year hasn't allowed that. You have one of the better teams to be able to do this though I reckon. Agree with Filth in turning Niko into Parcell as like Sash said, Garvey may not be there much longer. @filthridden Personally holding Carter.

How much cash mate? I think you could find yourself a trade or 2 ahead of most soon if you are shrewd. Maybe start relating your trades to byes while most of us are still behind the 8 ball. Speaking of which, how many do you have in Round 12? At a quick glance that is looking very glum for you.

mmmnn 7 of a possible 8 trades already used if you upgrade Niko to Parcell but its almost a must do trade as i doubt we see another big cash making hooker this year (Parcell still has a heap in him) and will be hard to upgrade Niko straight to a gun later.

Hoping on Cartwright playing so I don't have to play Pauli. 50k in the bank. Bit concerned about the weakness/cash growth potential of my bench, doesn't allow for much for the next injury.

Next goal is to replace garvey on Liccha return. Will likely down grade to upgrade thin stocks in the frf/2rf.

Only thing that will save me from here is a long term injury leading to a new cash cow coming from the bottom end of the player list.

I order to get parcell I need to use another trade. Maybe Rochow? But for who?

Hurrell probably best bet, maybe take a punt on J Bowen

did you only bring in Hurrell last week? Why?

What's the rush on selling Hurrell if he has him? BE of 33 so may lose 10-15k but could make that in one run. I'm ready to fix my centre problems by flogging Green if he can work his way into the starting line up

Thats me. Worked early on getting rid of the dregs (Benry, Green) so I can just sit and make cash for a while. All of my NPRs are either keepers (Peats) or CCs (Jaifiti, Hastings, Taylor).

I think the biggest saving grace for me was starting with Johnson over DCE and Turner over Carter.

I've had hurrell from the start. Any other ideas? Thanks for the help

oops i would have meant i had brown in my team and trade him for hurrell. my bad

Option 1 - Over $100K left

DCE - Parcell
Carter - Gun 2RF/FRF (any)

Option 2 - Around $50K left

J Niko - Parcell
DCE - Gun HLF (Or WFB Via Barba)

Option 3 - Around $50K left

DCE - Parcell
Green - Gillet, JDB, SST, JTurbo, Mcguire

Im leaning towards option 1, but it means keeping Niko. Option 2 at least gets rid of him, but option 3 gets rid of Green. LOL

Thoughts?

I like Hurrell long term, as i think he will eventually get the start but i cant see too may options for you to get the cash to do Niko to Parcell

Not really. Kata and Ayshford have been performing well and he was the most error ridden centre last season I believe
