But if you are bye planning for Overall, always remember that whatever the combination/number of players in any given round is not as important as the gross score you have after the last game in Round 26.
My strategy has always been attacking the bye round everyone else is writing off to grab an advantage and posting an average score in the other bye rounds. Rather than relying on X number of players I generally go after as many high scoring players as possible on those rounds. Eg better to have a 45 average prop plus an extra trade than a 25 average centre and a 25 average wfb
