Interested in this as well.  Personally I tend to write 1 round off because it just gets all too hard to make trades that are still genuinely good Fantasy players vs genuinely good Bye players.

But if you are bye planning for Overall, always remember that whatever the combination/number of players in any given round is not as important as the gross score you have after the last game in Round 26.

My strategy has always been attacking the bye round everyone else is writing off to grab an advantage and posting an average score in the other bye rounds. Rather than relying on X number of players I generally go after as many high scoring players as possible on those rounds. Eg better to have a 45 average prop plus an extra trade than a 25 average centre and a 25 average wfb

currently have Woods, Surgess, JTurbo in the FR. Trade would be Welch - BLaw

    Or

milk Gutherson early and  fix up my CTR and backline and go

    DCE - RTS via Barba
    Gutherson - Dugan

    I would do Welch-BLaw
It's important to have as many spots as you can in the 25 making you money. Welch is never going to be more than a 20 point scorer. BLaw gives you an extra option over the origin period

    Team for this week

    Smith(c) Parcell
    Woods Debelin Trbojevic Mataora
Surgess Taupau Whitehead Cartwright (Saifiti Leuliau)
    Johnson/Hunt/Milf Hastings (Taylor Jnik)
    Aubusson Gutherson (Auvaa Henry)
    Gordon Barba Mitchell (Scott Feeney)

Can't decide on which half to bring in. Leaning towards Johnson.

    Im thinking DCE- Parcell.

J Niko is in my other hooker position, so I would be moving him to the halves. Makes him easier to get rid of.

Feels too late after he made 50k last week but if he can continue to score 50+ he can be used as a stepping stone so you don't have to find 300k to upgrade JNiko

    Cheers MS

long term I think BLaw is better because he will make cash and offer solid scores around the 40 mark

Just hard to see past the potential of adding 2 underpriced guns who I would want in my final 17 for the price of 1 in DCE

You are gunna want DCE in your final 17 and I think it will be closer to 3 weeks on the sidelines

At least a month ain't it? Fair few high ankle sprains in the NFL can last a fair few weeks and can linger into months

I can do Welch - BLaw and DCE - any half edging towards Ben Hunt?

He has certainly got the vote of fanatics since pre-season but on form I'm not convinced he is a must for season end final 17.

I'd like to have him but I already contemplated Mbye for him before his injury as I'm a believer that it's not a 4 week fluke with him. Anyone watching Mbye or Milford would have to be impressed so far and there's still a few expensive backs to hit top form yet. Other running style halves starting to hit some form too in Morgan and SJ.

If it's proper sprain it's only as short as 4 weeks due to the full time treatment those clubs have. 6week best for full strength naturally and normal conditioning

4 weeks is probably a sell for me then because I don't want to run Taylor or TMM as a starting half with Hastings

I would of considered running Taylor if Roberts had missed a few weeks with his knee injury but he looks like he recovered

i think i'll get on javid bowen and cross my fingers linnett takes a little longer to come back than 4 weeks. you would tip cows every game in the next four rounds and they should win 3 of them at worst, so maybe he can get on the end of some tries. then the cows play rnd 12 and rnd 18 so hopefully he'll play those too. green doesnt seem like the type to knee-jerk on player selections so he should get a decent run.

does anyone know what he plays like? 193cms/91kg so has some size about him.

Sounds like a silly question, but would we all consider RTS and Mansour keepers?

    RTS yes.
Mansour you'd hope so. If he can stay injury free then he should be

So conflicted as to who to replace the million dollar man with. I think I've narrowed it down to Ben Hunt or Shaun Johnson. Mbye I was looking at mostly because of his bye coverage but it's seven rounds between now and the first bye round and while I think Mbye's good he has scored a few tries and had attack stat heavy games. Sezer too but maybe too risky on that one.
I mean you can't go wrong with Hunt or Johnson I guess it just comes down to who I think will score best over the next few months.
