BLaw with better job secuirty as well you would imagine

Team for this week pre trades, hold them or make some changes?

    Smith (c), Parcell
    Woods, BLaw, Evans, Grant
Surgess, Whitehead, SST, Guerra, Saifiti, Cartwright
    Hastings, Walker, Taylor, DCE
    Aubbs, Gutherson, Littlejohn, Scott
    Barba, Fergs, Mitchell, Mann, Feeney

Thanks for your thoughts Milchy, didnt get time to add my trade ideas in there

Thinking of going DCE > Mansour via Barba and Mann > RTS, just to have something to be cheery about haha

Yeah that's what it came down to for me, trading in BLaw rather than Brown. Too much going on in that Souths forward pack for me to bother with Brown or Turner now.

I'm trying to figure out if I want the cash making and decent scoring from BLaw in a position where I'm already set

currently have Woods, Surgess, JTurbo in the FR. Trade would be Welch - BLaw

    Or

milk Gutherson early and fix up my CTR and backline and go

    DCE - RTS via Barba
    Gutherson - Dugan

Holy crap at that front row, haha. I'm looking forward to next week when I can have J Trb, Tolman, BLaw and Gavet just chilling. I'd be feeling good with what you have and bringing in RTS specifically is something high priority for me if/when I get my forwards sorted out. Dugan, not a priority for me at this stage, but I'd have to go with the backline trades over BLaw in your situation.

Only made 1 trade this week, Grant out for DeBelin. 185,000 left and part of me feels like I should be using it to trade out someone like Evans, Gavet, Leiluli. I was looking at Kedwards, but something tells me nah, even if Mau is, possibly, out for a couple more weeks.

Interested in this as well.  Personally I tend to write 1 round off because it just gets all too hard to make trades that are still genuinely good Fantasy players vs genuinely good Bye players.

But if you are bye planning for Overall, always remember that whatever the combination/number of players in any given round is not as important as the gross score you have after the last game in Round 26.

I was toying with the side and looking at the minimum amount of trades I'd have to use vs bringing in guns and cows alone, no midramgers who will offer nothing. Side wise i would be happy having it, problem is getting the right cows and it limits you in who you trade in for certain positions. Also i would have to get the money to turn bhana and green into 2rf cash cows/keepers. But looking at it as a whole, over all major byes you are fielding 43+ players over all (if people neglect a round they will be lucky to get this) with minimal trading required between round 12 and 19.

Gonna give it a go and try to only trade in keepers who fit my plan.

Main targets are 4-5 guns who everyone wants anyway so no pod required

If the rest of your team is sorted I don't think either will get much cheaper. I've gone for Mansour this week

It's not sorted but it's injury free, so am happy to keep them.

RTS and Mansour are two players I personally think you should have so now is probably the best time

So its probably something obvious, but why did Mooper suddenly start getting 60 + minutes in the last two weeks?

He now starts from the bench, so once he's on he stays on - saves an interchange

Before he was starting and coming off and then back on again

Ah right cheers Milchy that makes a lot of sense. Second question then while I've got you, who is Gower in for/why did he miss the first two weeks?

    Rd 1 /2 ???

Rd 3 covered for suspended Ma'u (Kedwards to run on team)
Rd 4 came onto bench for Peni Terepo (no obvious reasons given on NRL final teams list)

5 man bench again this week

I think Gower is just a fringe player so will be in and out of the team depending on form and injuries

Is it too late to grab Parcell?

    Im thinking DCE- Parcell.

J Niko is in my other hooker position, so I would be moving him to the halves. Makes him easier to get rid of.

Good trade but I would be just going Jniko to Parcell, find the money from somewhere else if you aint going DCE to a gun.
