Aubs is like that ex girlfriend with the incredible tits who is amazing in the sack and sucks like a hoover. You keep going back because you think she has changed yet the outcome is still the same every single time - You get absolutely fucked over and feel like a fool for thinking things had changed. Yet when she sends you a selfie wearing nothing but one of your old t shirts you go running back even though you know you will get fucked over somehow.

How often do you see a player of yours make a 20 point play only for it to be pulled for a shepherd and you lose those potential points. Football can go either way, and so does the fantasy points. But everybody likes to gafaw and slap each other on the back about players they "knew" were going to go badly and they "tried to tell everybody", as if it was all so obvious when in reality things could have so easily had a different outcome. May as well brag about what a good Bingo player you are.
To a certain degree.
I would call it more educated guessing. Not flying but falling.. with style.

Likely scenario, with Guerra, Cordner & SST to start. Aubs to get around 50 minutes based on last year.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 19
Im not looking to bad for the byes. Rd 12 i have no halves and 1 centre but the other spots are filled and will trade my cash halves by then anyway.
Rd 15 im good except for the backrow but i have a couple of knights ill have traded for then
trades this week i swing widely between doing none, which allows me to make max each bye round, doing 1 Evans to Dugan but im not losing anything with Evans + suits my FR bye coverage and dugan will miss 4 games over origin plus injury risk or doing 2 bringing in a risky CC + slight upgrade on Gavet to a 2nd row mid ranger who has good byes.

He would have been in my team from day 1 if he wasn't signed for the Panthers next year. He's great value but that Souths pack is forever changing.
Creagh is rubbish. Cooper would lose minutes instead of JDB.
Bhana is likely not going to be playing much again this year, anyone would be better than him I think.
Bhana based on what? That's not what I've heard. Apparently injury not as bad as first thought and the coach rates him

This week im going
Carter -> JDB
Green -> Dugan
Gives me starting 17 of
Smith (Garvey)
Surgess JBrom (Graham)
Taupau Parker Cartwright (JDB Saifiti)
Hastings Walker
Hunt Dugan
Inglis Mitchell Barba
some massive upgrades there mate. really like the look of that team. quick question though, what do you do with Garvey if Lichaa returns next round. I'm going to imagine you don't have much cap left after those trades and Garvey will still be a good 100k of a gun hooker

yeah I'm holding onto Bhana, nothing to lose at the moment, hopefully he'll get some descent minutes later in the season

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 19
I'll say this about Aubo, I didn't want to play a cheapie in the CTR's and I didn't want to overspend on Dugan or Croker either. I analysed his stats as a 80 minute 2RF and took the chance he could get those scores. I should of remembered he was running off Maloney/Pearce last year and he probably wasn't going to match those scores but I took the gamble and it didn't pay off, such is Fantasy life.
In my pre-season notes I ruled out Hymel Hunt and Dale Copley as cheapie CTR's to pick. I thought Copley was an average scorer at best and would make little cash. He turned out to be a dud and I saved myself a trade. However I also thought Hunt was a reject from the Storm who probably just "Trained the house down" and earned a starting spot he'd lose to Auva'a anyway. Now he's starting to like a genuine keeper.
You win some, you lose some.

As a Garvey owner
I will be getting off the Gravy train and jumping straight onto the Parcell express
As long as Garvey scores within 5 points of Parcell, with his lower BE it will likely be a straight swap

Had not considered this. Trade was all but done. might have to go back and look at last year's stats.

Next week I can make Carter and/or Cartwright whoever I want or finally do something about Benry or Feeney, my last two red dots. Only problem is whether to reserve Cartwright or Barba. Unfortunately sharks play after panther's
Edit panther's after sharks
Just noticed instead of this I can do dce->RTS and
Evans-> jdb with exactly $0 left. Seems like an omen. Might wait and see with bowen?

If I was a Dragon fan I would bloody well hope so, Creagh = Cutters.

I mean I know hes a club legend but it gets to point where you have to consider dropping him to lower levels. Even Rabbit's secret origin weapon Merrit suffered from that

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 19
Who was it when David Nofo first burst onto the scene argued that he was a massive trap and would never get near his first up score of 40 odd in his first NRL game?
Went on to bang out big scores consistently but said person still argued that he wasn't viable as a cow or a starter?

In round 3 JDB played 75 mins at lock with B.Creagh playing 29 minutes off the bench...
