Whats the general thought on pulu from titans? Looking at swapping bhana to another cow that might make money as unlikely bhana will start once sims returns

He has played 3 80 minutes games in the 2RF, this is the reason why people got Aubbs, just a lack of form causing him to average 30
If peoples main problem is trying to dump Aubbs then you must be sitting pretty

He would have been in my team from day 1 if he wasn't signed for the Panthers next year. He's great value but that Souths pack is forever changing.

Creagh is rubbish. Cooper would lose minutes instead of JDB.

Bhana is likely not going to be playing much again this year, anyone would be better than him I think.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 19
Now im thinking DCE > Gordon via a couple of switcheroos and Mann > Mansour, leaving me with 108k for an upgrade next week should i need it.
Leaves me with red dots of Feeney, Scott and Littlejohn, each player taking up a spot in the Halves, Centre and WFB and also leaves me with a back up player in each of the WFB (Mitchell) and CTR (Aubbs) spot.
Is that an ideal way to play it??

I sold Aubbs last week, but I don't blame anybody for bringing him in. They were banking on him getting 80 mins in the second row, which he did get (mostly). He has always been a 50 point player in that position, and for the first time he underperformed in his games, rather than not getting the mins. If you believe in hoodoo, then more fool you

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 19
With Maubbs, the trap has always been that he is so versatile. So you bring him in when playing 80 in the backrow, and then he gets shifted to Centre to cover injury, or benched to play hooker.
Except for that shift to centre to cover injury this season, he has been given exactly what Maubbs owners wanted-80 minutes in the Second Row. Historically that means he averages 45/50 plus. The trap this year is a new one-the Roosters are playing worse then they have for decades and Maubbs on top of that has been average in his own form.
So I guess technically yes, we got sucked in again, as Maubbs is the only player who could manage to find another new way to be involved in poor scores.

This. But yeah, it's Maubbs, so he found a way to screw us 7 or 8 years running
In saying that, I'll take his 30 average with the potential to smash out some very good scores.

I wish I could like that twice.
Fantasy wise, the Roosters being poor should be good for Maubs. Poor teams give up plenty of ball and make more tackles, and for a tacklebot 2nd rower Maubbs should have eaten that kind of game up. But he got -26 in penalties across those three games and was pretty underwhelming. You are right, he really did come up with a new method of fucking people over. But since I don't believe in curses and hoodoo (53 from Cam on a Monday night seems passable to me!), I will still argue that it was a reasonable decision for chumps like me who brought him in- and I have no regrets!

This.
Highly unlikely to go under 30 when playing in the 2RF, he has lost what $30,000? Boo Hoo! and that is when he has been playing at his absolute worse stats wise
Cordner is still another 3-5 rounds away, definate hold for me!

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 19
The problem with Fantasy is that there is so much luck involved in it. How often do you see a player of yours make a 20 point play only for it to be pulled for a shepherd and you lose those potential points. Football can go either way, and so does the fantasy points. But everybody likes to gafaw and slap each other on the back about players they "knew" were going to go badly and they "tried to tell everybody", as if it was all so obvious when in reality things could have so easily had a different outcome. May as well brag about what a good Bingo player you are.
