Haha knew it.

Just reading about him. It seems like he's fairly small, fairly light but super fit. One player of the year for redcliffe dolphins, playing mostly in the halves.
Seems like a fun pick, albeit bad bye, no job security + don't know if he's up to first grade standard.

Highly rated in The system. Was resigned actually. He's a half but he's all guts. I'm assuming they want him there for ball playing. Similar to Mann I guess but goes in like Cotter. Not saying he's THAT level but he's got wraps.

Played 2 games off the bench last year at lock and went decent, so definitely capable of doing it.
EDIT: Looks a fair bit like fleggy so that may of payed a part in his selection

Someone sell me on Mr Smithers. Preferably with numbers but I’ll accept other offerings

Money where the mouth is - I can't see how Manly is going to let 800k sit on the pine.
Good luck Burbo pickers - you are gonna need it

Been seeing heaps of gun teams you guys have made thus far, was just wondering if it's a bad idea to run a similar cookie cutter team for a h2h orientated player. I'm under the assumption majority of you lads are playing for overall points, but what advice in terms of the "cookie cutter" teams would you change for a h2h player eg. going with guns and cows where possible, starting with all the guys we reckon can make some solid cash early on etc.
Any response appreciated!

The money on the pine thing is dumb. If they've made a bad decision paying him that much that's entirely separate to making another bad decision by putting him in the team if it damages them.
Angus is getting shitloads from the Roosters, but if he doesn't improve the team *right now* he's sitting down. Billy Smith is ahead of the on field pecking order over Suaalii despite being behind on salary. See also Howarth at Storm. The amount they're being paid shouldn't factor into team selection at all.

I've never played H2H, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but you mostly want to start with a similar team to on overall player. Main difference is that you don't care about origin/bye planning and will go a bit easier on the trades at that time (especially if you are safely in the finals for your comp)
Main thing for H2H is having max trades left for H2H finals, where overall players often have just a couple of trades left at the end and limp home
