Mulvy mentioned it in my team tracker thread do we consider Damien Cook? No bye til round 7. Only worry is he’s just coming off a minor calf niggle and will he play 80mins every week or get an early mark here or there. I think early on he plays close to 80.Eaglestar wrote:Reece Robson kinda interests me with no bye. At moment i ditched Grant to make cap but i hate it. Though Robson still does not clear up enough. My hookers are my major concern right now to fix before Sunday.

Last year Cook played 1,255 minutes for Souths before they subbed him for the first time (in round 17)
I think if he doesn't play 80 minutes a week, he's going to go very, very close

That's when their season went to pot too. There's a lesson there somewhere.

Did you know that Cook used to be a beach sprinter?

EDIT: This all depends on whether Cam starts or not. I think if he's starting he becomes one of the better MID options. Main benefit is the cash in the bank over Haas. Murray is lovely but not too eager to run Murray + Tatola.
Sort hs minutes to over 60 and you might just find a suspicious fluid in your pants.

Atleast i will have Haas
R1 isn’t the be all and end all of each pick
In fact it’s probably the least impactful for cash cows as the price changes are the lowest

Sitili was always a silly pick and Wong probably the wrong pick too
I think MTB was joking

They have shamed him by not letting him come to the opening season party in Vegas - he will be there Round 2 - What is dumb is thinking the Burbo is a good player and is holding Schuster out on form - I am happy with my decision
I understand that you’re happy with starting with Schuster over Burbo and that’s fine but wouldn’t the safer play for a Schuster supporter be to wait and see where he is named for Round 2?
Going back a few pages, the best/worst case scenario could land you trapped with a 25-40 minute bench role..
For mine, Schuster is at an easy enough price to bring in if/when he is named to start.
And I’ll leave it at that, cause we’ve hashed this particular chat out to death already.

Might be an interesting shout to go Cleary and Yeo together, and sacrifice that one round of H2H but otherwise have them for every round (the other panthers byes are in 16/19 that you don't play anyway).Ramitinmyhaaas wrote:Hey guys, just looking for some advice for a h2h player.
Been seeing heaps of gun teams you guys have made thus far, was just wondering if it's a bad idea to run a similar cookie cutter team for a h2h orientated player. I'm under the assumption majority of you lads are playing for overall points, but what advice in terms of the "cookie cutter" teams would you change for a h2h player eg. going with guns and cows where possible, starting with all the guys we reckon can make some solid cash early on etc.
Any response appreciated!

I was reading that he has a great offload, is a sizeable team member, and good under a high ball.
Pretty sure that Parra see him as a future first-grader and will be keen to keep extending him.
