Three second rowers with injury concerns after 2 games, not cool
Haha. Yeah, I was at the beach with my kids. Ducked out of the water for a minute around 2:50pm to check the team lists and in hindsight I realised I pretty much checked numbers 11 and 12 for Roosters and that was about it, as they were my concerns and I didn't want to linger. Got home about 5pm and thought I'd have a quick look at my team scores and saw Piakura was on 0 and thought 'oh fuck, he must have been a late out and I didn't even notice.' Actual result not much better, but yeah, tricky times when real life and Fantasy clash.

I tend to think I'll hold too, but like a few have mentioned, if there's someone that I've missed screaming PICK ME, then I don't think I'll have any hesitation to cut him in an instant. I noticed that neither Wong or Sitili made a Casualty Ward mention on NRL.com so I'm not sure if that's a good sign or just sloppy reporting.

Didn't have a great amount of joy today, Fantasy-wise, but I captained Haas too as I just wanted that extra freedom next week, having only my players from today locked in. Just in case something ridiculous happens. Funnily enough, Piakura was my VC.

I was going to go off in the game then I thought I’d control myself to not ruin the game for people Manly deserved their win they were better but I couldn’t understand why it took 72mins for us to get a penalty there was a couple of times I thought oh that’s a penalty but nope nothing.
Refs would've been instructed not to call anything - like in origin or the GF, it's a spectacle and they'll let the game flow unless it's untenable. I don't think it was a factor in Souths losing, our edge combos were too raw and we couldn't defend errors, but it was a common theme across both games

I don’t think anyone should be making light of this. Everyone’s experience with racism is different, Regardless of the content there is absolutely no place for it in the 21st Century. Whether they like it or not these players are role models and kids do pay attention! I have absolutely no idea what you have been called but absolutely none of it is acceptable. Please consider others before you comment in future.Rabbit wrote:

Don't think Leniu being out impacts May. JWH back next week. Leniu and Jared probably just rotate suspensions throughout the year.
If Sitili and Wong aren't injured then probably 80 minutes Sitili, 50-60 Wong? Wait and see if that's what it is in two weeks time. Holds for mine if named, nothing too kneejerk.

I’m starting with May too! Alas I’m pretty sure it will be the wrong T May with a far worse score!Honey Badger wrote:I started with May

So after the red mist has passed May looks a must have in the front row so one of Sitilli or Wong will probably make way (surely one of them is injured enough to justify it). I replaced May with Cheese si can’t complain too much. Captain Haas was a great result! Today was fantastic, but what happens when one of the lesser teams goes over?

Robbo said on The Matty Johns Show that he is happy to keep playing May the entire 2nd half. 55 mins looks like it could be the normal. Matterson used to get 60 off the bench at Parra didn’t he?rhinoceroo wrote:Don't think Leniu being out impacts May. JWH back next week. Robbo didn't exactly say that.
Robbo said he has the plan to bring Collins, JWH (when he's in the team) back on the field to finish games, but May comes up with some big play where Robbo cannot bring him off.

Also, I'd say the rotations were completely thrown off by two extra injury subs. I doubt the original plan was not to bring Cheese back after 56 minutes, but reduced interchanges plus gameflow meant that was ok. Basically, all Roosters forwards are a week-to-week proposition, as they have been for years.

Also, not reflected in fantasy scores, but thought Suaalii was really fucking good. Best I've seen him play at centre. Hard for Billy Smith to get back in however much they love him.

Bit of a mixed bag for mine. Ran hard, but missed some crucial tackles including on Walsh in the lead-up to Mariner's try.

Looks like Leniu is downplaying the whole thing and saying he has nothing to worry about - I suspect that won’t help his case

Saab went down, who is next in line? Does garrick move out and Parker or talau come in? Don't see value. Vaega maybe?

Was Fog your other starting half? I thinks its important to start with 2 dominant halves in such a high scoring position. Hutchison wont be a dominant half next to Burton.

Pretty reactive. The difference between Fog and Hutch's scores over next few months likely to be substantially larger than the difference between Sitili and May's.
