Regarding palasia starting... I don't see him getting more than 40-50 mins...
I think with Randal playing heaps of mid last year he steals mins so essentially a 4 mid rotation bench.

At 40-50 mins, all time Ave 30. Last year 29. = no value

Depends entirely on what you use the 200k for

Are we even certain the bulk of the kicking is going to Fog now that Strange is his partner?
Strange was the more dominant kicker in the trials so would have to think he's at least a capable kick option going forward. Could steal two or three points away from Fogs.

Edit: I'm currently tossing up ta similar issue and more times than not, I end up with Boyd in my team instead of Fog. In your case, I'd be happy just going Hutch and using the $200k elsewhere.

Ended up with a team I was quite happy with and still had 600k in the bank. So need to decide which positions I run without cover, which cows become guns and which guns are worth the upgrade

Cold on Smithies after tying to work out how he gets 55+mins once Horse is back...can't see it.

Pretty conservatively, minutes could look something like this?

Tapine 50
Horse 55
Pap 40
Guler 30
Saulo/Mariota 15

Leaves say 50 for Smithies.

Tapine will be closer to 45 some weeks but the rest could all be a little higher. Horse maybe 60, Guler averaged more like 40 from the bench last year. Pap can definitely still play more than that. Ricky factor as well though so who knows.

Then there's the unknown if 55mins would even be enough for Smithies scoring anyway. Horse and Tapine do a lot of tackling.

Use the extra $150k to strengthen your 16-17

Probably been posted a million times but what are Smithies base stats?

Tackles, meters, tbs, offloads? And in what minutes?

Probably will just go lolo myself and evaluate later. Not like he’s going to become a top tier gun anyway, and he’s not cheap enough to worry about missing probably.
