Teams locked in. Sick of changing it. After having Grant all year I’ve ditched him. Thought behind it - round 4 bye, hopefully drops some cash around origin and I can pick him up after. Bench feels quite slim to be honest but oh well.

IMO Chan. Feel like he could be locked in for bigger mins than the other two? Salmon has 2 guys on the bench known for playing lock. Dunno though. If in doubt, go the higher minute player.

Sorry, to clarify I have to play 2 of those players and leave 1 out. (ideally it would only be 1 that I have to play but I need to leave Strange out of my 17 to get Burbo's score)

As much as i want to cheap out on my centres and run Strange/Burbo, you kinda need a decent dual player there to cover for Kini in round two and Papy in round four (if youre running both). Otherwise youll be in a bit of a pickle pretty quickly relying on Cotric to hold his job

thanks... but why would bringing in an EDG (Lucy) remove a big body from the Prop rotation (fifita) in a forward pack that is otherwise not that big...is there something I am missing beyond the usual rookie prop caveat emptor

What are we expecting from Salmon

40 minutes for mid to low 20s or something different? Just a quick reality check???

V Fifita has a terrible PPM. As starting prop in NSW Cup, he averages 25 in 39 minutes 0.64 PPM. Puts him at just 19 points even in a 30 minute role, which he won't get.

Was scoring really well in the trials. Lots of tackles, plenty of ball. Scores of 37 and 38. Can't miss him.

Just pick him. The potential upside is huge, and the potential downside (barring 2nd minute HIAs or the like) is that the upside isn't very big.

My team has 10 guys who can play EDG and no WFB cover. What could go wrong?

Been tinkering and landed on this team. Think I’m pretty happy with it even if it is a bit back heavy.

    Cheese
    Haas, Elliot, Toups
    Wong, Piakura
    Cleary, Fog
    Kiraz, Kris
    Turbo, Papy, Rapana

    Smithies, Hutch, Levi, Salmon
    Burbo, Strange, Chan, Hughes.

Not sure I’m overly comfortable with my investment in Raiders/Doggies but it is what it is this year

    Roosters injury report:
After experiencing pain in his left groin, Tupouniua was taken from the field early in the second half. As a precaution, he will undergo scans and assessment.

Siua Wong was cleared of any injury after leaving the field late in the second half, and will be available for selection in the Roosters' Round 2 clash against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
