On Kiraz you probs would be better spending the 60k aye and going up to RTS if you want the DPP and better job secruity.

If it’s between those two I’d go RTS personally. More fun too

Obviously not Gospel but on podcast this morning they referenced someone saying could be more like 5-6 weeks but unfounded internet disclaimer. His price is decent and should gain in value with just a few games and easy sideways trade to someone else

Might make you 50-60k and some solid scores in the interim yeah. I’d take him if I had space but choosing Smithies over him for the price. As I said it’s just a potential problem bubbling up with the others

My view of Moses is a short term upside play (his early draw is good and he can capitalise on that) and a bridge to Hynes, not as a long term cut price keeper.

If Moses is fit you keep him. I don’t understand this bridge strategy, even if Moses averages say 61 he’ll barely make you 50k to bridge. And if he is averaging 61 then why are you trading a fit 61 avg player

Moses himself doesn't need to bridge the gap to Hynes, he just has to score well. If he scores well, I don't mind the flip in round 6-7. That said, I'm not opposed to holding Moses longer, but I'm not expecting 10 points of value from him.

Thoughts on running with Cleary + SOS with only Strange as HLF backup?

I think Strange as only hlf cover is a popular choice.

In my neverending, excruciating quest to get Ponga into my team, I could go Moses to Fogs and Hopgood to Tohu and get him in there with 100k left over.

Not sure why I want Ponga so bad. I just don't like my back 3. Kini won't be around long and I just don't trust Rapana. But I will probably just end up doing the safe option.

Anyone had a proper look at Nanai? Locked in for 80 week in week out. 2022 averaged 45 and priced at 40. Average seems to be down due to a few poor scores towards the back end of 2022 and then last year was hit with a few injuries and fatigue but still hit a 42.8 average. Scored a lot of tries in 2022 but almost a base state for him and still scores well without them. Priced below some guys like Smithies and Hosking and isn’t a stranger to a big score.

I have a sneaking suspicion the Dogs will shift Critta to FB (once Taafe is revealed to be the spud we all know he is), Xerri takes his centre position, Kiraz remains on his side.

Is Kelly going to be opposite Suli? Only asking because because I’m considering doing something absolutely mental, and it’s something I’ll have to do before kickoff tonight. I have the just enough cash to do it, but it might be unaffordable next round. I’m quite happy with the team and not anyone I’m willing to downgrade(yes, I’m stubborn). I will also say that more confident in player A averaging this score than I am player B averaging that score. This madness will leave Burbos 51 in my emergencies.

On player match ups, Kiraz vs Harper - could see a Talakai style masterclass!

Munster is out this weekend, won't help Chan, but Pezet is a pretty classy youngster.
