Reckon Seyfarth is a wait and see then huh?

His lock stats are pretty average - two starts for a 25 point average in 38 minutes. That was back in 2021 however. Last year, he was off the bench all year. Going back further, the only times he seems to score well (and play big minutes) is on an edge. Appreciate its a new Tigers setup with Benji at the helm, but its a wait and see for me.

Weird, if that is the case, even better. Seyfarth averages 54 as starting EDG! Expect that the narrative is wrong though and it is as listed - Seyfarth lock, Bateman EDG.

    Have a look at Sullivan.

Average of 68 at 7 in NSW Cup last season! Low of 49, 2 scores in the 80s in 4 games. Has a role next to a rookie 6.

Scored well when Hunt was missing last year. Should be the dominant half. He definitely was in the trial game with Galvin next to him.

Was this the game when Galvin came on just before halftime (I think) and played in the coach's words four different positions? Not sure I would be reading too much into that.

I'm more interested in Galvin as a base price cash cow than Sullivan as a mid-ranger/subgun.

Seyfarth averaged 0.9 PPM in the MID off the bench last season. If he gets 45-50 minutes, he is in the 40-45 point range. In the trials he was at 0.9 PPM as starting lock as well.

The final 20 minutes of the game it was Sullivan 7, Galvin 6.

Says that Bateman will be playing lock so assume that means Seyfarth on the edge.

Has an average of 54 starting in that role across 5 games with no tries. That’s worth the risk of low JS?

Wait for what exactly, to play 50 minutes like we all expect and make 150k?

Or wait for it to be 60 minutes and make 200k.

    What am I risking here.

Too much talk about Kiraz and May be's.

How you chose to interpret them is completely up to you.

Personally, I'm not going to base my opinion of TD on Reserve grade stats but they are there for anyone that does.

Here's the problem the way I see it.

I said, and I quote "He's never played more than 40 minutes. He's been off the interchange every single game he's played and has 2 scores in the 50's in 7 games with a ppm of 1.02.

Wut? Are you purposely misleading people so they don't get your 'PODS'. lol." End quote

You replied with RESERVE GRADE numbers. We don't discuss reserve grade numbers here. If we do, we clarify it, not just post a link that sucks in a few wallys.

My ideal is that the 2 of them share the EDG and lock role for 80 minutes.

When there is a small sample size, including a length of the field try for a forward, giving 52 points in 31 minutes in one of the games, reserve grade stats are more likely to give a better idea of likely output in that position. In this case it is pretty clear not to be expecting 1 PPM from him.
