Says that Bateman will be playing lock so assume that means Seyfarth on the edge.

Has an average of 54 starting in that role across 5 games with no tries. That’s worth the risk of low JS?

Yep, Seyfarth at 2RF and Bateman at lock would be a different story. But Seyfarth lined up at lock in the trials, not sure why he would shift to the edge now?

Nothing really tickling my fancy with those team lists. I’ll keep it to my one planned trade. Time to flick back and forth between here and the app just to check if my dots have turned green.

If Souths solution to stopping Carrigan and Haas is to move Murray to an edge and play a 2nd year rookie at lock, I'm cancelling my membership on the spot. There is no way that happens haha

    What a shower.

That is going to be a lot of your cap in 18-21. Surely you play Kris over Strange at CTR and move Strange to 18-21?

Just seems more experienced in that position and Bateman is no stranger to lock so maybe just a familiarity thing.

    Who knows really

Was this the game when Galvin came on just before halftime (I think) and played in the coach's words four different positions? Not sure I would be reading too much into that.

I'm more interested in Galvin as a base price cash cow than Sullivan as a mid-ranger/subgun.

The final 20 minutes of the game it was Sullivan 7, Galvin 6.

The last 20 minutes is normally when all the serious stuff is done and they let the young guys have a bit of a run around

Granted the Tigers aren't a serious club, but I doubt there are many other situations where the tail end of a trial match is a good indication of plans for the year ahead.

Based on team selections, Benji liked what he saw.

I did know that they were reserve grade stats, referring to them and even linked them. His chances of getting those minutes at lock with Murray in the team are very low. Wouldnt be surprised to see MCK get on the bench by game time.

    No. You didn't.

    Here's your unedited quote.

At $413k, not sure there is enough value to pick him over KPP for example, who looks like he could be a cheap gun EDG based on what we saw last week."

Reversed Cotter -> seyfarth and going to hold trades. I think Round 24 version of myself will be really thankful for this, especially after looking back last year my main regrets were silly early trades when they weren't required.

Even if Duncan, Seyfarth or the other options being spoke about really perform, the loss will only be 20k or so and then going someone like Cotter to them will still be very possible, but we've had a few dates on both sides.

Logging off for the week to avoid being talked into narratives as some of you lads are bloooody persuasive! haha

Is playing a rookie out of position at EDG any better? He would be up against Riki right?

    Hey folks,

Anyone have any idea how long Lucas is out for?

I'll probably just do Lucas - KPP, although I also need a CTR and a WFB as was being a cheap ass running Cotric/Kini with no cover Very Happy

Of course I did. Why would he have a drop to 45 minutes in first grade, if he had previously played 60 minute average at lock in first grade? Just getting nonsensical for some reason, trying to argue a point that doesn't exist. Note that I used the same source multiple times in this thread for other players NSW Cup stats as well.

Ouch - no KPP for you. Trading in a CTR and a WFB, hope you have a big cash stash, or you probably end up with Talau.

You remember all the sides that went really cheap with Strange, Cotric, Kini in their starting side and no cover, that we constantly had to say the team wouldn't work, then others were saying, nah they know what they are doing. Well it seems that it was a genuine concern.

I like Seyfarth. I like Duncan. I like TerMay. I like Galvin. Not sure I like any of them enough though.

How long is Arrow out for?

Well if we aren't picking players because they have a limited or no first grade record I may as well stop playing both Fantasy and SC.

This debate has decended into completely lunacy.

Do you play Burbo or Strange at CTR this week?

Strange has the better matchup but probably doesn’t get any ball
