Might just be my Eels bias and optimism coming through and yes they are coming off a loss but I don’t think Penisini will let him have an easy time. Carty on that side has really impressed me with his improved defence on that side too

Its a funny matchup because Penisini is the other gun centre I am keen on. Both him and Carty have an MT in them though. But I am probably just being silly on May, I also got suckered into Talakai after he gobbled up Harper, so I have prior history for falling for a shiny centre Laugh 3

And don’t worry about the haters, nobody gets to gatekeep how people post as long as its clean.

Don’t sweat it mate. I’m sure most on here can appreciate that some people have less time than others.

I dont think anyone really needs to get Taylan May. Hes a centre and he might be a gun but he'll have quiet games just like every other centre does. If you want to get him just do it though.

Just like I dont need to get Terrell May. Hes a bench prop that will have shorter stints and settle around 45 avg (maybe?), but I want to get him, i wanted to start with him but bailed, so whatever, im doing it. I know we think these things to death, but its not that serious

Based on the games on the weekend you could go 100k cheaper and get Laybutt

Terrell will be managed like every other young roosters forward. Games of 50+ and games of 30s.

At least a TU/TD question is much better than some of the queries I see in Facebook groups where an anonymous participant will pretty much want someone else to make the choice for them.

The key thing for me with Taylan May is his DPP. Especially losing Cotric this week and having the likes of Kini, Bostock, Strange and Burbo in those positions in my squad, having a guy of his calibre being able to slot in where needed will be really handy.

And getting 60+ in a game where he didn't score tries and his team got shutout is hard to ignore. Teddy, Turbo will also have quiet games.

But I can't deny him being a centre is a bit scary.

Not much talk about Liddle. I thought his deal was always that he just never got the big minutes, and it seems like he finally has a coach willing to play him for them. Historical average of 48 when getting 65 minutes, 52 when getting 70 minutes. Has some injury history, is that what is spooking people?

I will be looking at him next week in preparation for Grants bye. If he gets another 50+, I will be trying to get him in if I can.

I've been out the game a couple years, and never that Fantasy relevant. Aside from being the most decorated mod in Forum history... But isn't it a bad idea to trade out a gun like Ponga off one average score? You got him in because he's an absolute game changer and can score insanely well. Trade guns if they don't have a role you like or someone else is impacted their scores but don't do it off round 1 and poor scores.
