Unfortunately I'm not in the brain of the madman Robbo, but he does seem to rate him.Rabbits21 wrote:On Terrell May I’ll get him but I don’t think he gets 57mins I reckon it’ll be around 45mins.
What do we think Rhino, Snatch and MS?
Even in 45mins he’s probs gonna score not far off 50.
When I've watched the games (which naturally I do quite closely) I've seen May as a super reliable middle defender, as well as good runner of the ball. He's hard to put down (like Haas) which can really help our go-forward in terms of speed. I can't see Robbo playing him for less that 40 minutes unless he's injured, but then again there's always the chance Robbo does Robbo things.
I think his minutes will vary week to week, but drift around between 40-70, averaging out to be about 50. I see him as a good pickup still this week, and am getting him myself.
Fair warning.

I'm bringing in May and Lussick this week, I've never been a hipster. I got my first iPhone in 2012 and it was a 4s. I now have an iPhone 14 so here's hoping Terrell can be a 4s that will turn into a iPhone 14.
Is the iPhone 14 the new model that catches on fire frequently?

I can't speak for the other two but I reckon that most people here watch 8 games every week. Being a fan of a team doesn't give anyone any sort of insight into team lists, rotations or fantasy scores

Three options for me:
1) Straightforward point scoring trades to Carrigan & May +130k
2) Nicho-chasing move: Hynes & Finefeuaki +200k
3) Play the BEs with May & Finefeuaki + 600k to get falling guns in coming weeks
Opinions?
Does the pending bye concern you for Hynes or happy to cover him?
If I was in your position (and didn't want Lussick) then Carrigan & May for me.
I'm keen to see Fine play a week before jumping aboard.

so i have haas, wong, luki & kris all out & 1 trade will be for a wfb as no cover so i can't decide whether to go:
(a) play with 16 & pass on the wfb as it was going to be arthars & he's in the 25-30 point mark so the trades would be haas, wong to hopgood & j. lussick (keeping luki for the loop) or
(b) go with my original trades before haas was out = wong, luki to j. lussick, arthars & trade haas to hopgood in round 4
cheers.

Who are your current WFBs? Not interesting in using Haas money to gun up there?

Thanks to everyone voting in the trade threads yesterday. Haas news made it tricky but had plenty vote in the second poll

League 8 is very high scoring this year, granted has only been 2 weeks obviously. Our bottom score is higher than all the leagues except one, plus the only player to score over 900.

Hipsters don't have iPhones, they have an Android phone that's some brand you've never heard of and they never shut up about how amazing Android is.

rhinoceroo wrote:Your projections of 40-45 point plodder Lussick being "a real good chance to be the best scorer", with consistently 70+ average half Hynes getting a 65 against the Tigers seem questionable there.
Not saying Lussick isn't a buy, but that's a bit OTT.
I meant relative to the other cheap guys Lussick has the best floor. I doubt Lussick scores more than Hynes, but also already have Hynes. I just think someone who is on the field for 80 minutes in the middle should have a decent chance of putting on a good score compared to guys coming off the bench. Didn't check that Hynes was against the Tigs though..
Edit: Plus I was a smidge high while writing that

I would assume a lot of people have this same dilemma with trade out priorities:
Luki: Injured, 6-8 weeks, not a keeper
Haas: Injured 4-6 weeks, elite keeper
Wong: Not picked, could be back in a week, could languish in reserve grade for months, not a keeper in any case.
Luki for me has to be the first out, and then I am leaning Wong and holding Haas.
Feels very stupid having 900k warming the pine, if its 4 weeks its difficult but passable, 6 weeks I would trade immediately.

Settled on Cotter as best buy for Haas but so many options might need to go for next week so just gone with Finefeuiaki and 655k itb. Had to do Luki to Lussick for HOK score. Predicting shocking score this week bench and emg gross. Salmon, Galway and Hosking in 13

Haas being out seems to be causing a few people to end up having to hold Wong. Makes me tempted to do the same and just do the 1 trade (Luki out to either Bodyslam or Galvin), but there are so many trade in targets that feels bad.
Going to suck if Wong is back in next week though.

I'm coming around to the idea that API is the better buy than Lussick. Kicks goals and has already had the early bye. Less risk of losing 80 minutes. Has a weak defensive draw too.
Do we have any further insights on the horse?

I was thinking the same but then I thought, would it be bad? He hasn't exactly blown the roof off with scoring, and who's to say he wont get 30 points in 50 minutes. Certainly doesn't scream "must-buy" even if starting. I'm happily selling this week.FaringdonSwirl wrote:Haas being out seems to be causing a few people to end up having to hold Wong. Haha havent heard someone refer to 'hipsters' in 10+ years.. what defines one now.. did they just concentrate themselves to fitzroy/brunswick becoming a parody of themselves and the rest of the australia forgot 'they' existed.
