Sprained ankle could be back round 7 I reckon so 3 weeks. It said up to a month doesmt mean a month. Like trade him now then he comes back and makes money then people will waste two trades on him. Mind you I’m trying to weigh up whether I flick him or Kini my head is in a spin. Just gonna have a shower legit hopefully things are less cloudy when I get out of the shower.mattnz wrote:

Trade Piakura if you have to mate, but if it's him or Kini, just trade Kini. He's terrible at fantasy, not playing and not likely to play again in the near future. Why make it so difficult? Trading Kini is the easiest thing ever isn't it?

Probably you’re right but I’m low on confidence currently after the first few rounds. Too much chaos and carnage.Mulvy wrote:

When they are talking about a month out, it sounds like a high ankle sprain. Agree to trade Kini over him though.

Based on the comments from Bellamy on Blore EDG and Chan MID, I am trying to work out what that looks like and likely minutes:
Blore 70-80
Katoa 80
Loiero 60-70
King 50
Tui 50
Welch 40
NAS 40
Faalogo 10-20 at lock?
Chan 10-20 at most?
Would make Chan Hughes lite.

Blore is going to come straight in at 70-80? Doubtful. Chan could fill in at 2RF and mid. Faalogo probably has more of a chance of spelling Grant at 9 and then Grant coming back on at lock.

Blore played 73 minutes at the weekend. In 7 of 9 games at Tigers he played 80. EDG at Storm is normally 80.mickspicks wrote:

True. It makes most sense that he'll be 70+. Seems as though you're in with Chan getting maybe about 20ish? May be time to move him on.

If you're slicing regularly you're an easy fix. Get that right elbow tucked in at setup and leave it there all the way through impact. You're casting and probably early extending to catch up. Right elbow tucked. Thank me later.
That used to be me too. The elbow in tip plus the headcover drill sorted it for me. Give this a watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-qmcX2CBSU

Next minute Chan still starts on edge and plays 80.

Second trade would be Chan to KPP/Talagi/Brown or just hope Hughes/Levi have a 30+ in them and maybe save a trade
Same. Got Galvin locked in and KPP looks like he could be a season keeper on that edge with his PPM, involvement and size. Likely 1/2 weeks left to grab him before he's in the awkward category as well.

What are everyone's captain choices without Cleary?
Thumbs up: Tedesco
Down: Turbo
Turbo against the Dragons could be a good shot but Teddy is on fire to start the season.

I am seeing Talagi as a great way to avoid a bad score in the bye rounds for May and Kiraz. Will be able to loop him and Strange, so shouldn't drop too many points and hopefully avoid any really bad scores, that others may be getting that round.
I also think the big risk is getting behind on the must have cows. Those that missed Galvin last week, are a week behind on him this week, so you are behind on Talagi the following week.
Declaring Talagi as a "must have cow" because you're on him and likeling him to Galvin isn't accurate.
We had a week to see Galvin in the halves, and he was great. Those of us that missed him didn't by choice, and are paying the 70k+ now.
Talagi is effectively 2 weeks behind Galvin, waiting and seeing how he goes in the halves isn't missing a "must have cow", it's wanting a eye test first. If he goes hard and then next week he's not picked up, then you'd be missing the must have cow, definitely not this week.
Yes I could be made to eat my words is he goes well, but as of right now he's a completely unknown commodity in the halves and most people have about 7 different fires!

Chan was also keeping Blore out and it took an injury for him to get the start. It could be that Blore holds it, could be that Blore was just doing a job on the edge and Chan comes straight back in next week but I think it's hard to say for certain.
Most people would have Piakura as a trade out anyway, may as well hold Chan a week and see come TLT R5?
