Turbo hasn't play the Dragons since 2019 but did get 100 then so he's guaranteed to go large this weekend. Captain him, then captain him again to make sure.

Intrigued to see whether SJ gets the kicking tee back this week. If he does he could well be worth picking up after one or two more price drops. Would replace Moses nicely at ~770k

multiple.scoregasms wrote:RE: Talagi - I'm not looking for a cash cow this week but Talagi feels a bit like forcing it. Last Monday he hadn't even been mentioned as next man up/one to watch and now he is the second most popular trade in. I know CTR eligible playing in the half and all that but there will always be another cow. This time next week we will probably be talking about Iro or Geyer or Schiller after they put up a 40
RE: Gun vs Cow - Cash gen is still going to be very important this year, despite everyone currently being flush with cash due to Cleary and Haas injuries. In the near future we will need to be able to upgrade the Hutchison/Salmon/Burbo's of the world so I'm leaning towards Campbell over Turbo. Leaves plenty of cash but also plenty of players needing to be upgraded while Campbell should make 150-200k and close the gap on a falling gun
RE: KPP - Has the role I want and looks a likely fantasy scorer. Looks to have jumped Lucas with Friz moving to middle to accomodate both on the field. If my team wasn't imploding he would probably be an in for me this week and it's very likely I still grab him next week. Basically plays like Kikau but with a defensive work rate so can see him averaging high 40s as long as he starts
RE: Cleary - Holding makes sense for my team at least for this week. Can't spend his cash in the short term(nearly 450k in the bank without trading Cleary) so preferring to get rid of the likes of Moses, Piakura, Cotric and Wong first. Chan and Burbo may also be priority outs ahead of Cleary for me
Great analysis MS.

It's annoying, I'm going Carrigan but would like Turbo too. I can get both, but I don't have Galvin. Stupid 2 trades a week.

2023
With: 54.2 (14 games) Without: 59.7 (3 games)
2022
With: 51.8 (22 games) Without: 61 (2 games)
2021 - this was under old scoring, 1 point per 20km and 3 point TBs, 2 point offloads. So I am giving rough estimates based on current scoring
With: 48 (16 games) Without: 50 (3 games)
2020 - as above for scoring
With: 47 (15 games) Without: 66 (3 games)

Shaun Johnson seems poised to take back goalkicking duties for NZ Warriors, when they host Newcastle Knights on Sunday.kamikamicameleons wrote:Intrigued to see whether SJ gets the kicking tee back this week. The club's alltime leading pointscorer was the primary kicker for their season-opening loss to Cronulla Sharks, but handed the responsibility over to halves sidekick Luke Metcalf for subsequent encounters against Melbourne Storm and Canberra Raiders.
"Yeah, if he's ready to go... he did a couple today and if he's ready to go, he'll goalkick," confirmed coach Andrew Webster. "He had a little twinge a couple of weeks ago and it would have been dumb to do it.

I was raised in Fairfield and I don’t associate with it, why should an outsider? It’s in Parra by the way, and Liverpool is in Tigers area. Canterbury have threatened to go out Liverpool, I think they have purchased land there.robelgordo wrote:
No brainer for Warriors to be back
Bulldogs would be good for Western Sydney pathways... except Bulldogs have never really embraced their Western Sydney pathways. Should more strongly identify with Liverpool, Fairfield etc and just don't. Parra, Penrith even Tigers with Campbelltown have done a much better job.
Also feels like Sharks, Souffs and Dragons (Illawarra) were the strongest catchments in NSW for womens rugby league pre-WNRL, and the first two will nearly be the last to get a team.

Turbo's run meters are spectacular.
The season he averaged 80, his run meters averaged 221.
This season he is averaging 207.
His RM are not the difference in his average
Last 4 years his RM have been 221 (80+ average year), 196, 195, 207 (3 games this year)

Yeah like 20 years ago there’s was talk they would build a stadium in Liverpool
It’s just hard to see how a WNRL Bulldogs team services Weatern Sydney. I know people outside and a lot inside Sydney think Canterbury-Bankstown is west but Canterbury is round the corner from inner west hipster places like Marrickville and probably about 5-10 years off gentrification and Bankstown still isn’t that far west either

Safe to assume Taylan May should get plenty of ball time/opportunity being on Luai's edge?

Is there any logical reason to keep holding Tatola? He performs fine but is just so bloody boring to own. I need some thrills, but can't help but feel he'll start pumping 50s as soon as I drop him.
With so many traditional guns starting the season poorly I think there'll be tonnes of value in the coming weeks.
I briefly flirted with the idea of Tatola pre-season, then I woke up in my own vomit and realised there are plenty of better Middle options out there.
Kick him to the curb (unless you need a green dot to field 17 this week).

Thats the hope. Sorenson being out should help a lot too. He was ball hogging, just hitting it up every time.

As safe as assuming Spencer Leniu will get more minutes due to whatever we hoped for.
I wouldn't be trading Taylan in or out based on tuis week anyway, so just roll with it and enjoy it if he busts a bunch of tackles
