I'm following suit with the Hosking to Fog trade.

I expect Brown will outscore Fog for less, and is 1 less Raider to worry about for their upcoming bye. Most teams have 3 to as many as 6 Raiders.GreenSchist wrote:Hosking straight OUT, Fogarty IN.
Bit late to the party but needs to happen to cover the hole I have in the halves.
Hoping Chan gets named so I have 17 green dots this weekend (Smithies and Burbo buy themselves a week or two reprieve).

Just realised that in 3 consecutive rounds, the teams on bye are:
Bulldogs
Eels
Raiders
After this round they probably typically make up 9 or 10 members of most teams. Could be some real carnage through that period if popular players from other teams are also out for short term injuries and suspensions.
I have 9 myself, 3 in each team.

Dyl definitely better value, but won't be a season long proposition (Moses eventually back) so will need to be a sell.mattnz wrote:

If Green needs cash gen, DBag definitely better.
If he needs a season long halves keeper, Fog better (and still undervalued by 7 points based on current scoring)
Other Raiders will be the trade-outs when it's their bye

Trades look fairly straightforward this week, which is how you know TLT is going to spark chaos.
Sitili -> Brown
Hughes/Chan -> Talagi
Depending on whether Chan is named.
All aboard the Eels halves.

Its a valid consideration, I'll go back and have a look.
Cheaper option might be the go if I need to make another trade.

Will need another new captain this week with McInnes on the bye.
Going to be quite hard to go past May vs the Dogs. Will be either him or Grant.

If Fog can average 55 he has 2 points of value.Snatchpato wrote:

Don't think we have ever seen a half average his current kick meters across a season, even guys like Cleary and Moses. As dominant kicker at Titans he was still only low 300s km per game in his best season there, half of what he is averaging this year, which is likely 7-10 points a game difference from here when that drops.

Someone talk me off the ledge
Also considering Egan, the bloke is always injured though or HIA
May take the gamble, but have other priorities first.

Until Moses is unable to make a return and Brown becomes a season long keeper...

JfC. Not only did I back myself into the corner, I violently threw myself against it. I should have 17 green dots, 12 of whom could score 30 or less. I’ve also got a cool $2.993million riding the pine this round(I was firmly in Camp hold Cleary).
Option A: continue to hold and take the score and rank hit this round. I was 76k two weeks ago, I’m pretty sure I’ll make back any lost ranks over the following weeks. Also, one trade to get some cash gen going again.
Option B: double trade and focus on getting Cleary back post Origin, and have confidence Hynes can match him or come close to his average.

Trade choices this week looking pretty straight forward for the diligafs.
No access to my team. So just save trades and hope genius sports sort their lives out soon

Highest KM average for Cleary is 508 in 2021. Highest for Moses and DCE is 450-ish, and I couldn't find anyone else higher. You're right, Fog's KMs probably come back to earth at some point.

You have Cleary, Hynes, Mcinnes and Galvin? That's harsh. Personally I would wait it out. Saves you trades this week and in future weeks getting Cleary back. Doubt you get enough points in 1 week to make it worth an extra 3 tradesForanAgainst wrote:JfC. Not only did I back myself into the corner, I violently threw myself against it. He's also averaging well under RM for a half, 0 offloads for a half which is well unders, 0 tries, and only 0.5 TA/game. Not saying you're wrong about KM, but assuming that's the only factor in his scoring is too narrow-minded. Fair chance his KM drop off in more open/flowing games, but his offloads/tries/TAs/TBs etc make up for it.mattnz wrote:

In any case he's currently averaging 60 through 4 games this season, and unless given more information I'm going to run with that for now.
