Depends who you ask.

I do feel Warriors get dudded more than most teams.

Then it probably goes from 17th up to 1st.

Just human nature to subconsciously go with the better side - for example, it is 12-12 and Roosters v Souths, last minute, a 50/50 highly subjective call with no right answer which will decide the game, subconsciously which way are you going to go?

(Different answer in 1989 which was about the last time Souths were an obviously better team than Easts)

It's not deliberate bias, it's not corruption, or incompetence, or whatever some blowhard on Facebook is saying... just human nature. Flight reaction. The answer is get a sombrero better at footy.

This is for on-field refs making split second decisions while fatigued. Will admit sometimes I have no fucking idea what the bunker is thinking.

The worst part of the Dragons not making the 8 was I had saved old Rabs post about how Souths will be there in September, but St. Merge won't be.

This was in response to me saying neither would be, so I will be still 100% correct. But would've preferred to be 50% correct and him 100% incorrect.

You said the Dragons were going to do this. Can't believe they actually did. Fans must be livid.

it's just like when there was a nz v aus test match coming up if there were players at the judiciary the aussie players would get off & the kiwi boys were charged it was so blatant

i have a feeling the warriors winning the comp would be far better for the nrl bottom line than panthers/storm every other year.

I think the more rational ones were probably expecting to be running near last, so being in contention for the finals until R26 is crazy. We were maybe the worst team to ever be in the top 8 ever. Can't really understand how we were there when you consider some of the results. Not sure we are a better team than last year really, just managed to win a few more close ones.

But yeah, still disappointing to capitulate in the last 20 against Sharks and the first 70 against Eels how they did.

Fully expect them to win on Saturday, not only because pressure is off, but also because it makes no sense to beat a team that just rolled Panthers and Roosters.

The funniest result would be a 90 minute draw.

They had a facebook post the other day and the last 10 years only 3 teams have been minor premiers. It's actually last 12 seasons.

Grand finals is a bit more a mix obviously, but it is a comp in danger of getting monotonous. Which is traditionally what it has been, but it was fun and unpredictable for a lot of the 90s and 00s.

What trades are people making this week?

I've got two left

I have one. Depends on KPP and Wighton I guess. I have no bank so will be looking at a cheaper boom type play. Thinking Manu if he plays. I'm guessing he'll play in the halves and currently at 508K it's an easy swap for KPP if he's still out.

How about a FOG if there were no injuries? (looks around for missing laptop)

Looks like Brown just got added to my score so gained 350 places instead of losing 200....up to 23 in the FOG so the shuffle is on

Only need to outscore the next 7 to 8 fanatics in front of me by about 200 points next week to finally defend a L1 placing (albeit in what must be a pretty lean year for the forum), easy.
