If you want an answer that doesn't involve asking Wayne Bennett, Aitken never relegated null null to the bench 0 times last year. Doesn't mean he can't overtake him in the pecking order at some point

Back to square one, cool the jets. Who likes trading anyway.

Hey @my tv broke are top 5000 player ownerships on footystats live? Says Cleary is owned by 4600 in top 5k so I figure it must be last rounds.

Server still struggling? Think Mulvy is right, time for another dono.

KPP and Gutho in for Wong and Cotric

Burbo and Tupouinua survive another week

Pretty much the same here, but without Cleary. My team has been an absolute shambles this season, by far my worst start ever. Played 16 last week (after max trading), and had to do the same this week to field 17. Dropped 10k to 25k overall. The struggle is real. I'm normally balls deep in bye planning by now

I'm kind of stuck this week.
Holding Cleary & Hynes means my 17 is seriously weak this round.
First trade is Tuops > KPP (can do this with current bank in 1 trade).
But, do I ditch Smithies for a 2nd trade?
    Save the trade?
And, if I do trade out Smithies, which one is a better pick up?
    Gutho or S. Fainu.

I already have Teddy / Paps / RTS / Kiraz as WFB so don't really need Guth for positional cover.
My Middles are pretty much a crap-shoot > running Shoes / Duncan / Bodyslam

Fainu looks like he's got some upside and the DPP is useful when replacing Smithies, but Gutho looks like he's gonna score really well over the next couple of months.

    Thoughts from the Brainstrust?

    Awks week for me

I think I want KPP. Has to be Smithies or Rapana out to afford. I think that’s a reasonable upgrade but who ever I choose to yeet leaves me thin at that position

Then I’m on the razors edge of 17 green dots
Piakura to 461k leaves me like Campbell or Angus, probably both too early, or Fine too late.
Piakura and Chan playing early means if there is a late out I have to move Galvin, who I’ll then want back.

So I guess three questions are
    1. Smithies or Rapana out?
    2. Play with 17, gamble no late outs and hope there’s some better cheap buys ahead? Or use the 2nd trade?

Other option is hold all trades but that would be nutty

I think in your scenario would hold Smithies. Don’t think Fainu is a points upgrade and given your MID room I don’t think you can prioritise cash in this instanc.

Other option is don’t hold both gun halves and bring in someone like Carrigan for one of them to strengthen that weak spot. It’s a lot of cash on the reserves

I don't think so mate. Likely avoiding myself and will hold Chan for next week and see what happens. Feels like a forced trade and certainly doens't look as involved or good as Galvin. His 1 big play last game propped him up and he has 0 involvement with their attack. If they lose again this week, wouldn't be surprised to see Asi come in there either as he looked great last year.

Also from a trader who got Lussick 2w ago as he was a 'must have cow'. Taking the safe approach and conserving a trade on this one. May be a bad call, but we'll see.

I say this, but I have now gone Chan to him from Fomo and all the plaudits Blaize seems to be getting. Spot was confirmed safe by BA also. Hate to pay a 40k premium next week and Chan named bench..

I reckon Gutho is a steal at his price. He was everywhere last weekend and is 80k cheaper than Dylbag.

I heard whispers of a 250k CTR with 12 points of value based on positional averages.

definitiely doesn't have dubious job security or is playing for the worst team in the comp

Better yet there's a CTR for $230k that's played 3 games in a row who appears to have decent job security, jump on.

    definitely isn't averaging 13 points
