I sold him last week as well with the thought that I could use the money in the meantime to enable upgrading a bunch of spuds. He might end up being a keeper edge there's still questions around minutes when Whitehead gets back. I think Angus scores as well for 250k less.

TLDR won't be sad I sold him unless he banners up this weekend.

    Blaize and Chan out.

Looking at Iro and Jye, have a feeling he finds a way to stick around with other Souths players under-performing.

Hopefully back to a full squad next week, with the return of Cleary, Taylan, Galvin and Rapana.

    I should start a survey.

Did you get Angus last week, or you're happy to wait a week while attending to more pressing issues?

Translates to a 24 average as a starting NRL FB, similar but worse to Blake Taaffe

Yes true. More accurately I should have said *best case, it probably translates to a mid-high 30s avg.

You're right there's always the possibility of another Kini/Taffe etc.

With the Rapana 6-8 weeks news, I will trade him to Angus instead. Was assuming back next week, so dropped players were higher priority originally and lots of cheap trade in options at the moment.

Yeah, I could trade Piakura to Angus but still positive I'd rather save the trades. Awkward times.

I'm pretty happy on cutting Rapana if he's out for 6-8 weeks, he has looked broken every single week.

Therefore Rapana > Hynes is pretty much locked. Second trade is going to be either:

Teddy or Cook > Iro or Chevy to generate the funds.

I am currently leaning towards Teddy out as I think a new coach at the Bunnies will see Cook as their best #9, and then Iro in as he has a good score in the bank and it's 1 less Raider.

That gives me 17 with a bench of Levi Hughes Salmon Hutch and a CTR pairing of Strange and Iro Laugh 3

Can someone tell me everything is going to be ok?!

Swap Levi, Hughes Salmon and Hutch into your 17 for better players and then squint.....everything is going to be ok

The good thing about Manu, is that he will be back at fullback over Origin, when you want him again anyway. Worst case, you just add him to your team and he eventually gets fullback. Best case, they rest Teddy like Knights did with Ponga last season.

This implies Tedesco will be the FB, which is not guaranteed in the slightest imo

You have to imagine you're a loser who made a knee jerk late trade last week which fucked up your bank (and score) to get you into the headspace.

I’m looking to pickup Turbo.. hope that helps 😅

Tend to agree here, although dropping the FB and captain would be a bold move.

I’ve actually set up a ctr pairing of Strange and Iro. Think the Storm easily score 30+ on the Dogs, meaning another midish score for Kiraz. Burbo playing centre is a no go for me. Kris was tough to leave out, especially against the Titans, but I’m sure the majority of scoring will go down the Timoko side.

I can always have a panic attack and play Strange at half for Flanagan, and probably pick the wrong option to go into the centres for the previously mentioned three above.

Think I’d prefer Iro in this week but he’s not nailed in that Sharks team.

This is my exact concern. Finucane, rudolf, Hamlin uele, Hunt all out still. Definitely plausible when they return they move talakai back to centre to fit the others in

My dilemma this week amongst byes and injuries is in the WFB space.

Tempted to drop Taylan & Rapana for Campbell + Trbo

Or Rapana + Cotric for Campbell + Cheapie WFB (Stewart or Schiller or ??)

Not sure if I’m ready to give up on Taylan but also not sold on cheapie WFBs on offer.

Something to ponder in the next couple of days - focus on points or cash.

Yeah Cotter is like 45-55 every week, not sure he has a better ceiling than that while Turbo...

I could just hide behind the couch and see how it goes without Hynes this week. I've got the inkling of a bad feeling about Tyrell May getting lower minutes for the next little while and losing the money he has made.
