I sold him last week as well with the thought that I could use the money in the meantime to enable upgrading a bunch of spuds. He might end up being a keeper edge there's still questions around minutes when Whitehead gets back.  I think Angus scores as well for 250k less.

TLDR won't be sad I sold him unless he banners up this weekend.

If I'd known Whitehead was out before previous game probably would've held. Thought I was getting a good deal on Fifita. Hosking cost 584 so 90k to upgrade and I'd get solid scorer last week and Raiders upcoming bye. Could really use that 90k this week and Hosking probably goes nuts against Titans and could be season keeper. Not averse to trading him back in again later

I could just hide behind the couch and see how it goes without Hynes this week. I've got the inkling of a bad feeling about Tyrell May getting lower minutes for the next little while and losing the money he has made.

Yeah none of them scream a trade out. Even Terrell deserves another week to prove keeper status.

    Who’s ya Captain without Hynes?

What does the post in a group mean SJ training with Rehab group? I know he's been nursing injuries but assume he plays. Would like to get as discount on Hynes but now concerned

(C)arrigan or Fog.....may even be able to swing the Hynes trade with two middies next week.

I have my doubts about Smithies long term prospects as well. If he goes back to 60 mins he goes back to 35-40 points

Edit: firm believer we need slightly bigger squads with HIA rules etc.

For sure, they need to come to their senses next year and increase the team size but they wont because of the effort required. Just need an extra 2 I reckon. Once the byes came into play with the Dolphins coming in was really a big enough reason on its own.

At the very least I do think they need to allow 3 trades a week from the get go. Surely they can see that this many teams struggling to field a full team each week this early on is not great for their game.

Although in saying that he enabled KPP + JC and some funds for Hynes so would've been a lot of flow on effects if I did keep him. But boy I could use him now.

Thoughts on my trades? Was going to hold them until we got Chevy Stewart named. Considering doing both of these, or just the first one. I can field 17 without trading but Talagi and Chan don't seem like they're coming back so don't see a point in holding.

    Talagi -> Stewart

Chan -> Willison (would reverse if Chan is a late inclusion)

Tempted to drop Taylan & Rapana for Campbell + Trbo

Or Rapana + Cotric for Campbell + Cheapie WFB (Stewart or Schiller or ??)

Not sure if I’m ready to give up on Taylan but also not sold on cheapie WFBs on offer.

Something to ponder in the next couple of days - focus on points or cash.

I'd probably keep Taylan & I don't think Chan is coming back for a while.....Stewart probably gets the vote if you need a WFB. The trial games he played were with Rookie halves combos so fingers crossed there is some upside there

Funny story. I just had a comment in a Facebook group removed because the “admins” over there classified me telling someone to use their own brain and think for themselves as “bullying”. They’re, obviously, Generation Butthurt.

Thanks - probably the way I’m leaning too.

Is there a definitive timeframe for Rapana out?

I think this is the first week that after trades I've thought my team actually looks better than at the start of the previous week. Probably don't feel the same way after I put up another 620 this week.

Looking at Sitili + Rapana to SJ and Iro with 300k it to pick up Garrick and Brailey in the next couple weeks. SJ over Hynes for the Wahs factor.

Hoping Cheese gets good minutes this week with that bench.

Willison pretty borderline once Haas returns, will he still get the minutes to average ~32?

I assumed Talagi would at least stay in the team, even if dumped from five-eighth

Surely he's better than Morgan Harper
(although to be fair, Harper looks better for Eels than he did for Manly)
