Rudolf on the extended bench worries me for Iro

Could move Talakai into CTR or alternatively could just replace Tau Tupuha

I assumed Talagi would at least stay in the team, even if dumped from five-eighth

Surely he's better than Morgan Harper
(although to be fair, Harper looks better for Eels than he did for Manly)

The point is these are young guys that could go back to cup for a refresh at any time. Theres no guarantees for young fellas.

Iro is highly touted and im going to grab him, but it wouldnt be that surprising if talakai was ctr next week.

Same way it wouldnt be surprising if Kris went to fullback in two weeks time. Stewart is their future but hes super young. He could have two average games and ricky gives him a rest

Eels off the back of a couple of losses are probably looking for a bit more experience. Its nothing g against talagi

We're all just guessing here and trying to make the best call on what we hope will happen

I had gone Hutch -> Hynes yesterday, but now I'm thinking I'm better off going Talagi -> Hynes, and maybe Chan -> Iro/Stewart.

The Iro/Stewart conundrum has got me. My gut says that Iro will score better, and has no byes until round 16, but worse job security. Think I'll go Stewart just because I see Talakai returning to centre once the Sharks get their troops back in the forwards. I've already missed all the other value picks, so what's one more?

Edit: Stewart throws a spanner in the works with having Smithies, Strange, and Levi. Hopefully I can shift Levi out in a few weeks before the bye, but how many Raiders is too many?

This is tremendous!  I played CB too Laugh 3 .  This needs a Sweeper though as I am that old it was still a thing and loved it.

Sweeper is CDM now. They just moved the sweeper in front of the back 4

I'd probably be more surprised if Chevy played every game from here to the end. I'd expect at some point he'll have a rest. But he's not a keeper, just needs to be there long enough to make money
    Same with Iro.
Main problem is if you get both of them and then they both only last 2 weeks.

With Teddy also out, I need a WFB so pretty much looking at Chevy or Jayden Campbell. Might wait a week on Chevy, cash difference not likely to be huge either way if I want to trade either in next week.

We get three trades next week, right? There's a world where I double cow this week and can then go Talagi/Chan/Levi for Angus/Bateman/Nikora for a retro edge party.

I reckon we are on for a week where *nothing bad* happens and its business as usual for fantasy. I can feel it in my loins, or maybe its honeysetts lines

I'm older than you SI. In my younger days at school, I played right fullback in the old 2-3-5 formation (2 fullbacks, 3 halfbacks, 5 forwards), with no thought of a sweeper.

In hindsight, I think our teacher/coach was a clueless dinosaur, who was decades behind in his understanding of soccer formations. LOL
