    Course you were a sweeper. Still sweeping up my coding mess to this day!

    It's not glamourous work, but cleaning up after yourself, Michy, and ynot over the years has proven lucrative.

    I have my doubts about Smithies long term prospects as well. If he goes back to 60 mins he goes back to 35-40 points

    I’d probably go Carrigan cap this week and assess your options next week.

    Otherwise wasting a valuable trade on what has the potential to be sideways (at least this week)

    Haha. The teacher/coach wasn't even that old. I just think he was clueless. His dad/grandfather must have taught him everything he knew about soccer.

    I could just hide behind the couch and see how it goes without Hynes this week. I've got the inkling of a bad feeling about Tyrell May getting lower minutes for the next little while and losing the money he has made.

    I've got a similar feeling about Terrell, especially with a 54 breakeven this week. Not sure I can manage a trade out though with Blaize and Sitili screaming "punt me"

    Sweeper is CDM now. They just moved the sweeper in front of the back 4

    Ahh ok, haven't been able to watch it for the last couple of decades.

    In hindsight, I think our teacher/coach was a clueless dinosaur, who was decades behind in his understanding of soccer formations. LOL

    Sitili on the bench has put me off getting Angus this week. He's more likely to spell Angus than Nat I'd think?

    Tbh SI, the formations are very fluid now, and there's a lot of variation in how different teams line-up.

    Not his, but I have been removed from a couple of his, though. And update, after some choice opinionated words, I’m no longer in that group either!! Definitely wasn’t wise to end my rant by daring them with the following two words:”your move” lol!

    Guess hold a week to see if it's bad and don't get to loop. Tigers play pretty late. Probably a sell long term if he's not playing 80 though

    TLDR-

    Excuse the word dump as I pen some thoughts on some players.

    Potential trade outs, in order of preference (at time of typing);

    1. Chan - it'll be annoying if he makes his way back in, but it looks like it's Blore's spot and he's a pretty safe trade out.

    2. Levi - absolutely hate trading out a player with a low BE, but surely this is finally the week where the try scoring run dries up. And if so, he scores around 20 and only makes a few grand. Even another 30 only earns him 12K or so. Just feel like it's worth the trade to get in Angus.

    3. Talagi - or I could trade Talagi, and miss Angus this week. If I was 100% sure Talagi wouldn't be back in some capacity in coming weeks, I'd be more inclined to trade him and Chan to Iro and Chevy. But it'd be annoying if he was back next week. Wonder if it's worth holding for one week to be sure.

    4. Hutch - bigger fish to fry; he stays this week. Even though his BE is higher than Levi he's playing 80 each week and his floor seems pretty close to Levi's try scoring best, bar last week. I'm sure there's a big week coming, just not sure how much longer I can hold on.

    5. Piakura - I know if I trade him out I'll just want him in three weeks, so I think it's just worth saving the headache, annoying as it is at this current moment. Would get me Angus and Iro, holding Levi... but I think having Piakura in my team is better for it than earning another 20-30K from Levi.

    Trade Ins;

    1. Iro - considering I have both Talagi and Chan, I'd be a fool to not be nervous about his JS, but it kind of seems like the risk is more appealing than missing out.

    2. Angus - can only get if I trade out Levi. Like my Sitili to KPP trade last week, seems worth the punt. If I hold Levi and he scores like Sitili last week I'd be a very, very sad fish. But if Levi is making money this week, and so is Angus, and I use Levi to trade to Angus next week, there will be a portion of cash that Levi makes this week to offset against Angus' gains. Is that reason enough to hold Levi another week and drop a red dot instead (Talagi)?

    3. Chevy - didn't look great in trials but if it's his position for 6-8 weeks and possibly the rest of the year, surely a decent trade in. I'd be happy to pick him up, but the question is whether to trade Talagi out for him this week and pick up Angus next week. I am unsure.

    If anyone made it that far, perhaps you'd like to participate in this;

    TU - Chan & Levi > Iro & Angus (Talagi to Chevy next week if he looks any good)
    TD - Chan & Talagi > Iro & Chevy (194K for Angus next week)

    Haha. I remember it took some of the (older) commentators a few years to realise that there was no longer an inside and outside centre, and that coaches had adopted the left/right centre concept from touch footy (I think this happened in the 90's, probably because of the introduction of the 10-metre rule in 1993/94 and Super League's push for faster play-the-balls in 1997). Ray Warren was one of the worst offenders.

    What an awesome TLT. Hutcho survives another week - I can't afford to be trading out green dots. Will have to double trade (again) just to field 16 this week (again).

    Teddy gets a rest on the NPR bench, Ponga will have to be skipped.
    Duncan has been a complete train-wreck.
    Talagi too. Will need to trade both to cover enough coin to pick up Angus, and will have to gamble on Chevy making the Raiders FB spot his own.
    This year ... Bang
