On another note anymore news on Piakura injury

I was thinking seriously about Campbell, and 100% no questions asked wish I'd gone for him last week vs Gutho. But that can't be undone, and I was still interested in him.

But then I allowed my mind to wander to Teddy. He is certainly 200K more expensive, but with a huge BE he's probably going to be a red hot pick in a few weeks and I'd rather wait for him than go with Campbell. Origin, of course, is an issue for Overallers. But just my thinking at the minute.

Trade in a half and play Strange in centres an option?

Other than Hynes or maybe Shaun Johnson, who are expensive enough to not necessarily be affordable easily, is there a half worth trading in this week?

Maybe take a punt on Jye Gray

Hutch to Hynes is trade one.

Need a cheap option for trade two, while Taylan and Galvin are out. Iro fits the bill.

Yes, Galvinator is my second half for the foreseeable future.

I’m keen on Hynes but not sure I’m keen on having Cleary, Hynes, Fog, Galvin, Hutch.

So maybe spending that money in another position is best.

👍 Get it up on the front page of change.org I reckon, one of the big issues.

I want Iro but feels like job security trap. Has Talakai really been dropped from CTR when other forwards back?

The other obvious but usually skipped part of Iro, is to temper expectations on his scoring output. Aside from will he or won't he nail the spot, will u be ok if he averages 15 to 40 in the long run or does he have to average 50 for u to be content with the risky trade in

You have held him for 2 weeks already, don't jump off when there is only 1 to go.

Could easily be a injury to a gun this week and then you can have both.

I know there's a lot of outside noise around job security and potential player returns but as a NRLF player I don't listen to that. I just go about my day to day and follow my structures and systems.

Trades this week will involve some proven shithouse fantasy assets leaving the team and some yet to be revealed as shithouse fantasy options joining the team. I really think I can turn it around this week against my own mismanagement.

I might turn off my socials..

TBH I'll be pretty happy if he doesn't get dropped for a bit so I get the opportunity to have a whinge about a 15

I've done my homework like a good forum member and checked out his reserve grade stats, 50+ avg at CTR is to be expected

Stuff like this and the poor folk that traded out Smithies has me leaning towards the absolutely unthinkable this week, which is holding a trade.

I think I decided I don't want to trade out Levi with his BE against the Titans yet, so I settled on Hutch, briefly, thinking he'll just get pummelled this week against the Storm. But what if he doesn't? He's a green dot with a BE below his 2024 average (and well below his career average at halfback) so I'm thinking of holding this week, wait for an obvious trade out next week rather than force a trade this week.

Whether it plays out this way or not, I have serious doubts.

Before you trade Levi, these are the scores the Titans have conceded to opposition Hookers so far:
    Jacob Liddle 68 (68 mins)
    Jeremy Marshall-King 47 (74 mins)
Reece Robson 78 inc Try (76 mins)
Reed Mahoney 67 inc Try (80 mins)

That's a 65 average (or 22 points above the average for all Hookers in the comp this year).
Given Levi is guaranteed a try each week, that means he probably gets two try's and like 48 points

Lomax would be an excellent signining for the Sharks if they can secure him.

Tigers finally seem to have one potentially decent Centre, every now and then I dare to imagine what it would be like if we had two...
