With Talagi probably not being overly useful as scorer I will have exactly zero CTRs in Round 10 so for me Chester has to come in at some stage. Will also partner Strange in Round 13.

Looking more into Waddell, his 2023 stats are just so much better than 2022
You really need to know that its sustainable fantasy improvement and not a one off good year
2022 Waddell is very underwhelming - only beat 40 once in 14 starts at 2nd row (averaging 73 minutes)
2023 Waddell is a no brainer. Averaged 44 in 10 starts and that includes a 7 in 50 minutes. which you'd happily take as a one off if it meant a near 50 average for all his other games.
Not going to play in 90 minute golden point draws every week, but if he can continue current scoring, then he is good.
I have to get Angus first, as I am one of the fools who doesn't have him yet, but Waddell in the frame for a 2nd trade

Just note that although it could well change by the end of the day, Chester not currently available at CTR

Initial thoughts are;
Sitili - Angus
Burbo - Chester
Levi/Hutch - Waddell
My team is cooked. Not 100% sold on Waddell but I had him in draft before and he can score okay. Seems to like a head knock from memory but maybe my thinking there is inflated, dunno. Would love to punt Hunt but not in the situation to. I think he and the Dragons get carved up over there though.
At this stage I'm looking at Chester too because I think I'd feel more comfortable running him in the WFB over Chevy at this stage. Looking at Penis too as a possible option but just realised their bye is soon so will maybe swap Kris to him in round 9.

Yeah if for whatever reason he doesn’t get that added I’ll have to go back to the drawing board, and by drawing board I mean I have no ideaMilchcow wrote:

Edit: What is up with the Knights draw! Maybe I go for Best and hope for a few thrashings

HTF will still prob play origin, even if he return rd 12. So the next dolphin FB gets a fair run at it.

If he comes back R12 I'd expect Gagai-Holmes Game One.

Do we really expect Billy to go back on snubbing Gagai last year and giving him a recall this year?

Four step plan to a better NRL Fantasy experience.
Levi to Brailey
Chan to Best
Hutch to Ponga
Buy a Knights jersey and enjoy.

Reklaw wrote:Looking at cheaper WFB options to replace JC, it's probably a terrible idea with their form but AJ at 5/8 is intriguing. 47 average at 5/8 in 2022, they weren't exactly winning that much either. Only 479k with a be of 27
What if Boyd comes back soon?
AJ prolly to Fullback while JC is out tho.
Is that better or worse?
