Wouldn't mind some help rationalising my thoughts. Deliberating between the 'safer + Value' play vs the 'Fun + Risky Play.

Trading out Tatola, hutch and Levi. The two options:

Foran, Waddell and Blore/Jolliffe ( can also go Gray + Blore + Jolliffe here) Feel this is finding the 'cut price' guys who are on the up

    or

Gray, Waddell and DFifita. Here I can get in a gun before most and figure out the rest later. In this scenario Waddell becomes my starting mid with salmon and hughes the backups. Also, will need Gray gets enough time at fb

Edit: gray foran and Carrigan would also be possible in the second option

I would go Blore over Joliffe. Joliffe likely scores where he is priced now.

49.7 avg in games over 50 mins. Seems to be getting 55mins with Tino out

I enjoyed owning Blore last year. Maybe Chan can be seen as insurance. If he loses his spot I have Chan coming in

    Can you do Gray+ Blore/Jolliffe + Waddell?

I'm leaning towards picking Gray up myself next week
If you want to go with the gun option DFifita is probably better than Patty with the pending return of Haas. I assume you already have Angus & KPP?

    Burbo > Angus
    Hammer > Iro

Tempted to trade BHunny but probably just hold again this week on that one.

I don't think Chan is a threat to taking Blore's starting spot. Blore is the better player. Just a question of does Chan come on in the last 15 to spell Blore. Could mean the difference between 40 and 50. Seems like Bellamy definitely isn't settled on his bench this year (injury's don't help) but I think Shawn has shown he can play 80 on the edge.

Yeah going Gray over Foran will free up much more cash itb. tempted to take the punt on Foran this week and Gray may well come in next week going that option.

Yeah I moved quick on KPP and Angus, have had them now for 3 and 2 weeks respectively

Last year in both games against the Warriors he scored 25 and 30. I'll probably keep him but I think I'll loop him.

I saw that too and thought of you when posting. I don't have the luxury of a loop Sad

I could go to anyone else but it'd have to be a half.

I think Campbell + Turbo -> Chester + Iro makes sense as my first two trades.

Question is then what to do with Tatola, could afford up to 815k and well and truly stuck in the weeds. Players I've looked at, at least briefly:

    - Smithies
    - Marzhew
    - Nikora
    - Bateman
    - Egan
    - Api
    - Tohu
    - AFB
    - Ponga
    - DiFi

Mid would probably be ideal though not essential. Help? I'm leaning Tohu I think. Was on Smithies initially but not sure there's still enough value when Horse returns? There's also the option to sacrifice Iro for Stewart, in which case I'd probably get Hopgood.

    Team for context:

    Captaincy picks this week?

I'm a little tempted by KPP against the Dogs—whenever he finally scores a try he'll go 80+ I reckon, is this the week?

Will probably play it safe and stick with Grant though.

I'm trading Levi over Burbo just so I can loop him. Gut feeling he scores a 23 this week.

Anyone eying up Isaako in a couple weeks? Couple of low scores in a row has him down to low 600s. Couple be a steal if you can grab him for low 500s in a couple weeks. Dolphins have the best bye schedule if you can cover r14.

I hadn't been but he's on the radar now.

Similar to Bateman, if you can pick him up for a price starting with 5 in a couple of weeks then he's probably a steal with the Dolphins bye coverage.
