It was stated several pages back that Holland wouldn't see first grade again this year because of the little details Des looks for in a player during the game, but is there any chance he would be named if the injury to Stanley keeps him out for awhile?

unsure of how i will trade this week. Maybe downgrade Graham finding a cheap rd12 player then hold the cash and wait for some CC to peak the next 2 weeks and use it to start upgrading. I cant afford to let Wade bleed anymore cash that 30k this week cost me jumping straight to a gun

I think he gets named

I fully expect Holland to get named if Stanley is gone.

chance that one comes up at the tigers due to lafai's suspension but they wont get many games.

Only trade I considered was Barba>James Roberts so I wouldn't have to play Gutherson and would solve my 4 into 3 WFB dilemma but Roberts is a big chance at origin so would be a wasted trade

Ended up with 824 after the updates, not too bad. Will be interesting to see what the story with Carter is. Tempting to one-trade upgrade him to someone like Ryan James who is going very well.

Really want to get Fifita but will have to wait for BLawrence to peak before I can upgrade. Thing with Fifita is even when he backs up he gets 40-60 points, so almost worth getting him at this price regardless of origin.

If Holland/Kennar look like long term ins I will make just the one trade and get rid of that hideous red dot that, ironically, is named Green.

No planned trades at this stage... but I'm guessing team lists might change that...

More red dots than I'd like.

Ended up on 820 for the round and sitting inside the top 2,500 with 3,935 points.

Had a horrible round with Blaw 30, TMM 29, Merrin 28, Surgess 34 plus four other 30s but still managed 795. Had Garvey and JTrob out so took a hit.
Also am one that has traded out Aubo and Cartwright in the last two weeks!

Still sitting in top 1000 and to not lose ground I think I have to go Garvey to Parcell and pick up one of Bowen/Davis/Holland depending on teamsheets for one of my red dots.
If Carter gets named on the bench is he a hold?

Also, can go Garvey to Parcell with cash in the bank, is it worth it? I am tryign to ignore the money I have missed out on with Parcell and just look at what I can still make on him now with a BE of 1. He could be my bridge between Garvey and a gun.

Is Parcells time with these scores limited to when DCE comes back? Does the reshuffle put cover on the bench for Parcell?

Trades this week

Saifiti out for J Bowen (Or maybe Holland if he gets named)
DCE to Tedesco

Currently have the 4th R on Ash Taylor but will probably swap it to Latrell if Tyrone Roberts returns because he'll take away a few points in kick metres. I'll keep CLaw in my scoring side, a 33 with a try, TB and LB is worrying but the whole theme of my team has pretty much been 'keep the faith'.
Flash, A Taylor, J Roberts and even the Black Widow came good eventually so got to stand by your players.

330K for a guaranteed 50+ average on form (last three games, 73 mins, 80 mins and 80 mins with a 77, 50 and 56), could jag some attacking stats against Warriors, Eels and Knights at which time he could be a straight swap for McCullough, Lichaa or maybe even Peats. DCE wrote an article about Barrett and reading between the lines I think he will be out for at least another 3 weeks. Bad high ankle sprains can be anywhere from 4-8 weeks, so anywhere from 3-6 weeks for NRL I guess. If you have Garvey and didn't make the leap last week then you better now. Well I am. I should have last week instead of grabbing JDB or Dugan, but long term they won't be bad trade ins just would have saved money and gained more points last week.

I picked up Bowen last week but wondering what his future holds? I didn't get to see the game but it sounds like he played well enough to keep in in the team for as long as Linnett is out. NRL.com has that as round 7-9. Does anyone have an update on Linnett's injury? Also, all else equal, is it likely Bowen gets game time during the bye weeks? I think someone suggested he may, so should I keep him in mind when planning for the bye rounds?

Well there is no need to trade out Bowen if you already have him. No real rush or need to trade him in if you dont have him either.
