    I've gone Ponga to Walsh.

Would you go Hunt to Hynes or Haas if you had the option? Or look at a different option altogether.

    You've listed Hughes twice

    :troll:

I'd probably upgrade Talagi with the cash, JBrailey maybe? Loop Chan and Fine for 17th man or something.

I'd probably be looking at a primo MID I could park in my team for a long time.....Haas, Tohu, AFB someone like that

I'm tempted by Bateman at lock but it's a risk (both minutes and banking that he's staying there to get DPP)

Armstrong looked quite good at wing in the preseason. Looked like a high effort guy and broke 6 tackles with three line breaks and 2 tries.

I thought at the time and based on watching him play that he would get Dom Young's vacant wing spot.

A pretty kind TLT, only issue for me is Hands on the bench but I think Lussick is a trade regardless...

760k to replace him, so could go Grant or Brailey to maintain HOK cover (currently have Egan) however I'm not sure I can turn down Bateman playing 13.

Last year I went iPap over Bateman and he proceeded to rack up monster scores whilst playing 13...

Hynes as he will play Round 13 surely

I'm hoping to see enough this week that it's his spot to lose with talk of this Sharpe bloke being preferred.

Batman covering CTR put me off a bit, but he was kinda everywhere regardless. Definitely tempting at a similar price to Blore and Nikora.

Might play out the game at edge with Fainu going off, or big mins in the middle.. either way, could be a tonne of value. Also went IPap over Batman last year Evil or Very Mad

You're sticking with Koro? I've currently got him as a trade out. What's your thoughts on the hold?

He averaged 50 playing the same role last year, with less goal kicking and the tigers are a better team this year. I'm holding. Couple low scores playing busted and semi busted and against Penrith last week.

If I didn't own him I'd be looking to bring him in.

The opposite argument of that, is because the team is better, Api doesn't have to do as much compared to last year.

For team balance I would recommend Haas, but Hynes without Trindall is probably better points wise

I think he's a buy, not least because NSW origin rumours have like 9 dudes as frontrunner for hooker

i think there's a good chance that benji is just trying something different, and it might not come off and things revert/change again in a week or two.

the broncos are in a decent spot of form as well.. but they're probably due a bit of complacency with some big names back...

For those contemplating holding lussick (myself included) in the hope he bounces back to a 40-50 again, hands on the bench makes that one easier.

Bateman at lock…. Wonder if he keeps that spot unlike last year. He scores incredibly well there

I heard that Benji is a strong proponent of the eye test and that Fainu looks good. Worst case scenario is that he reverts to his current role and still makes money. The MattNZ case scenario suggests that he is the new Haas

    the eye test:

Can see the Broncos losing to the Tigers, and the successful Wests backline being cemented for the season with no threat of change at all.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, Haas seems like the right option for balance. Hynes will play Origin as well so I dont look at his byes as any different nor do I really care for the bye rounds.

Can somebody explain to me why everyone is NSW is so scared of pairing Hynes/Cleary for origin? has seemed like a no-brainer to me ever since Hynes has been at the Sharks, but everytime the discussion is brought up, everyone seems to for whatever reason have decided that if Cleary is in the team then Hynes can’t be
