Fog & Lussick -> Tohu & Bateman feels pretty good and gives some great coverage through the chaos rounds

Hating the hooker position this year. Prob have to do Lussick to Brailey. Feels like one plodder to another. Anyone running no hk cover?

I was looking at that trade and then reversed it, feels very sideways. I’m thinking about running no cover until 14 but could be a fraught tactic

Yeah thinking of just running Cheese till he breaks. Don’t think there are any standout targets

Pretty bland year for hookers at the moment. I'll probably do the same.

Watson back on the bench this week might be annoying.

If cheese could push that average from 43 to 45 by round 13 I'll be happy tbh.

Who do you guys rather out of the 2?

If Trindall is positive for cocaine how seriously will the NRL take it? If it’s 6 weeks out then Atkinson is a buy.

Gray is the other option and that I back the talent. I do think we need his energy in the side and he’s is the future he’s a good player. Issue as we know what happens with Trell.

Thought you were the big dawg with the inside scoop on Gray .. why you asking us?

Atkinson? The first choice five eighth for the Sharks is averaging 27 this year with four tries in six games. If he was 250k you'd have flicked him after round 3 with scores of 18, 17, 14. So what's Atkinson going to do exactly?

I am currently hovering over one trade which is Lussick to Fainu. Adds 100k ish to the bank but still feels a bit sideways, and Fainu obviously has to grab that starting spot with two hands for it to be worthwhile.. things could easily cahnge again in a weeks time at the Tigers.

Lussick could just as easily put up 45 anyway.. Maybe the public thrashing by BA will spark them into action.. maybe they're cooked. I guess Hands is lurking around again (for how long).. he's probably just there as utility coverage though, but will probably take a few mins regardless.

Laban is the only cheapie that interests me this week, but need some more news on Capewell first. Even so, probably can wait a week on it.

For me getting Atkinson in is mostly a cashout, in order to facilitate Fog > Hynes.

Don't like Armstrong based on Toohey mail.
Don't like Gray because Latrell checking his ego at the door is as unlikely as Aubbo playing hooker for the Roosters this week, not impossible, but extremely unlikely.
Don't like Sanders because the Eels merry-go-round is not a fun ride, and Moses back soon enough.

Would go Laban if more news comes out that Capewell is out for longer. Otherwise Atkinson seems the best cashout with upside to me.

I'm trading Cheese to Grant. Grant is due some attacking stats, and Origin doesn't affect him that much (he backed up all three times last year and played 70+ mins in each), and his byes are good too.

i must be the only one around who doesn't understand the 'latrell should move to centre' thing.

Yeah, that's all fine, but this is about running one hooker, and Grant's not going to do you any good in R13.

(Obv, Cheese would need to go before R14 if doing this too, but that's just one trade, rather than going Cheese to Grant to
    Hooker3, all before R13)

Feel like they're often let down in both attack and defence due to his laziness. Having a goer like Jye would benefit the hustle that the Rabbitoes seem to be missing. Latrell can do just as much damage from centre.

Thinking it's kind of like how Holmes and Gagai have become dominant centres. Moving Holmes to centre and Drinky to fullback was unthinkable a few years ago, but now it seems like a no-brainer. Feel like it'll be the same if Latrell goes back to centre and reminds us of why he was demanding over a million bucks to play centre for the Roosters.

I think Hands is mostly there to cover injuries, Lussick will likely play 70+

JMK is probably the best option over the bye rounds... that round 14 bye is annoying though
