Don't understand what? That he should move to his most suitable position or that he won't move to his most suitable position?

He just does not have the stamina or work rate to play fullback. He compensates in other ways away from the current fullback skillset, but clearly not enough.

I'm trading Cheese to Grant. Grant is due some attacking stats, and Origin doesn't affect him that much (he backed up all three times last year and played 70+ mins in each), and his byes are good too.

Lussick to Grant could work. Been a bit meh too but definitely a lot safer than Lussick

Trying to play 13 across the major byes is overrated anyway imo. I played 10 last year and the saved trades paid off by grabbing guns after origin, rather than burning them on cheapies and midrangers for a couple of scores.

I don't really think it helps or improves Souths. I don't think he has to run 200+ metres a game because other fullbacks do. The Sharks are currently top of the table with a fullback that runs less metres than Latrell.

There is potentially/probably attitude problems within the squad which I can't really comment on, that aren't fixed by shuffling positions.

In saying this, he'll probably be moved, so we'll see how it pans out in the next few weeks I guess.

I'm not really committed or die on the hill on this opinion, I don't watch them that closely, and I really don't care what souths do with their lineup. Unless Gray goes good and holds the spot.. then i'll bring him into my team, probably Razz

He shouldn’t even be starting for you in R13, R13 halves are stacked

Ah, this usually goes along with the old 'why can't Latrell be Dylan Edwards?' argument? I don't really understand that point of view at all, good players are all different with different skill sets and coaches should be good enough to exploit those skill sets.

Teams generally recruit players that suit their game plan or develop a game plan that suits the squad they have. Emulating someone else's game plan with a different squad always ends in tears.

Souths are better with Latrell in the team, whether that's at FB or CTR I'm slightly ambivalent but Latrell at FB is not the primary reason they are so dogshit at the moment (and not just cause he's always suspended Very Happy ).

Yeah, that's all fine, but this is about running one hooker, and Grant's not going to do you any good in R13.

(Obv, Cheese would need to go before R14 if doing this too, but that's just one trade, rather than going Cheese to Grant to
    Hooker3, all before R13)

I will find a hooker for R13, and as you mentioned, holding Cheese would mean I have the same problem in round 14.

I don't intend to sell Grant over Origin so it would be Cheese - Grant and then a different player to another hooker

You know if Latrell does move to CTR that NRL commentators/media will be banging on about how he doesn't get his hands on the ball enough

At bit of a loss this week. Weirdly, think I’ll just make 1 trade. Fog - kpp. 26 trades left and 96k itb.

I obviously hate playing Levi and Stewart. If it wasn’t doggies bye, I’d be playing 2 of those 3.

Players I’d happily move on cheese, pappy, Levi, May. But just can’t find a good enough replacement option. A lot feels sideways, or require a cash out trade. Way too early for that behaviour.

    Smith
    May, smithies, hopgood
    Kpp, Angus
    Cleary, Galvin
    Strange, penis.
    Papy, turbo, Chester

    Egan, piakura, Levi, Stewart

    Hughes, salmon, Curran, talagi

I picked up Grant once Cook started getting dicked around. Going for JBrailey this week due to bottoming out and conveniently plays Rd 13. Was gonna start with him, so the discount is nice.

Robson an option you could hold for the year if he misses origin.

Is 3 Storm players too many for Rd 13.

If I bring in Blore will be him Paps & Hughes.

    Stacked you say?

I currently have Strange as my sole R13 half now that Fog is out

I like the Storm byes because they're both on the big bye rounds where we only play 13 max. Won't hurt as much having 3, 4 or 5 of them out. I'll be at 4 if bringing in Blore.

Don't mind the Brailey pick but I'm not gonna let myself be trapped by him again.

I'm not convinced Robson's worth it, decent chance he makes Origin and the Cowboys bye schedule isn't amazing aside from R13. I'd rather go JMK as a 2nd hooker if I can afford it (would do it now but Walsh is too cheap to ignore)

I don't think I'm making any trades this week.

Cows haven't peaked, got enough green dots. Could bring in another elite gun of course, but ehhhh.

    Warriors and Broncos are similar.

Kind of feeling like it’s time to spend some money on the team.

    Fog > Hughes
    Lussick > AFB
    Salmon > Piakura

Leaves me with 11 for Round 13, will be a HLF and a MID/HOK short but playing some average dudes in that 11 too
