TU: Trade Talagi to a shitto, likely Armstrong
TD: Trade out Dylbags to get Walsh

3rd option: play 16 and get teddy/Garrick next week after price drops

You’re prolly better off getting Weekes than Armstrong..

Weekes' past scores are so depressing. I'd rather play 16 than waste a trade on him

Walsh so popular trade and great fixtures but no GK with Arey back and has couple of +60 scores with 2 tries. He could easily score those scores but not feeling it

    would you grab:

TU: Walsh (hopefully make some coin and good scores - manage through origin)
TD: Blore (grab him while he’s still a value play)

    Blore.

The more I sit on the Blore/Bateman fence, the more I think Blore is the way.

Bateman had his best game of the year last week.. from centre. 6 TB's, which is 5 more than the reason of the season combined. Prior to that was looking a 40's plodder.

Blore has been a beast the last 3 games and you know exactly what you're getting for a lower BE and a few dollars less.

If Bateman does go great again, his BE of 40 means he's not going to explode.

A lot of ponga traders i guess.

Hes probably the best option because hes cheap and broncos look like hitting form lately.

No one else cheaper is appealing

Fair call, I’m giving him a week minimum to see how he goes.

not sure Armstrong keeps the job when Sharpe comes in.

Saving the trade always pays off in the long run.

CorruptSquid wrote:It appears everyone is thinking along the same lines but deciding between Bateman and Blore is tricky, on one hand Bateman plays R19 and has a history of being a 53ish average and doesn't require overall team performance to bolster his scoring but on the other hand this gives me vibes of buying I Pap last year when he was 'discounted' and unfortunately spent the majority of the year being discounted.

Then you have Blore, doesn't play R19 but it is his last BYE for the year whereas Bateman has the R26 BYE and is 19k more expensive. But it's hard to gauge where he's going to average, could be anywhere from 45-55+ but if I had to put a number on it I would say 52.

    Tricky.

FWIW: I think Armstrong is going to kill it for the Knights going purely off what I saw in the trials

Roosters rotation still a bit of a mystery. My guess - and it's only a guess because Robbo - is Watson plays 40 at lock and 20 at hooker. Wong can cover the rest of the lock minutes, or Nat can move there with Wong/Egan edge. Maybe the two edges play 80, maybe they don't. Whichever way, Collins plays 50-55 and JWH 40-45. With Watson's 40, that leaves 100-110 middle minutes plus any edge remainder to be split between four bench forwards, which doesn't seem very much.

tl:dr could be good for Cheese, could be bad for May, but equally could just depend on how the game's going.

Looking to the end of the season, it looks like I have none of the final 3 WFB.

    Ponga Dedwards Teddy

    And I'm running

Hadn't figured I've have that much trading to do there, but it looks like a task.

Decided against better judgment to have another beer which turned into 2. Richard turned up. I said what about Laban, great kid, will he play 80? No Barnett will spell him. How long is Capewell out? Could be 1 week could be 4, it's tricky throat bone fractures. Asked if AFB going to keep playing big minutes, he said lot of them are but it's not ideal but have no choice. Best I could do

Probably not long enough to punt on Laban, especially as Warriors have a poor bye schedule. Dang.

    Thanks Loomer!
