I should have VCed Gus instead of Tohu, however, I would be down to 16 if Hynes got injured in warmups on Sunday. I no longer own Flanagan, so no Dragons to discuss. I’m guessing Cheese didn’t have to do much tackling in shellacking like that.

Terrell May has to go next week. Most likely for Sorenson or Bateman, who I’m keeping a watch on both this weekend. I had thought of getting one of them this week, but went with Jammin’ Jaimin instead.

No one playing in the Friday game, so I’ll just enjoy players who I once thought about having score massive amounts of pointage.

Cheese was actually pretty busy but he did try a couple of one on one strips which did not come off and so ended up as handling errors and a few of those annoying MTs where he stops the dude but doesn't maintain contact.

All in all I don't think 50-55 minutes is really enough for him to get a consistent base.

Just on principle I'm totally anti trading during a round to skip a shit score. I think it's always a compromised choice which leaves you feeling not quite satisfied and you've wasted a trade you could have used on the real problem.

But if I had to choose it would probably be Kris as he has a bye coming up, gives you the funds to do something else next week and with all of the cheaper outside back options coming through you can probably replace at a lower price.

I've calmed down from plan of 3rd trade of Lussick to Atkinson this week to free up cash and fix May and Liddle next week. Lussick could score well enough to keep and rather get more info on Trindall absence time frame

Whose more of a urgent trade out, Smithies with his limited minutes or Lussick with Hands on the bench

    Trading? What about J.Brails?
Priced at 28, should be a 40 average scorer. Plays 2 of the big bye rounds and will be needed on the park a lot more as team captain now Pongdong's gone for 3 months.

Just noting Brailey is priced at about 33

Lussick has scored well and poorly with Hands on the bench. 80 mins twice and 77 mins in 5 games

Grant with a late -6 downgrade. Fun times. I thought Tohu was penalised for a strip too, but must've been someone else within a few metres.

Do you think we can hold Cheese til round 13? What’s the consensus?

I know as soon as I sell he will get a 40 odd.

I had May in a loop which means I'm handcuffed into trading in a MID, so was looking at Plath before but he's my man now. Second trade is Ponga to a WFB. Walsh more than likely but considering May or Fuller also. If I went Fuller I could actually get Plath for Talagi instead of Hutch and keep him which may come in handy for next week, but not sure it's worth it.

Hard to know if Talagi will see a spot soon or if it's all talk.

I started him and he was priced at 38 with the hope that he could average 48, expecting more like 45 but definitely higher than 38.
    He's averaged 43.

You could hold him til round 13 but there's no guarantee he'll score more than 30 in that round and he won't have dropped another $50k.

He's hit his peak and you'd be holding him through rough times and hoping if you don't sell him now. He's shown he's not consistent enough to be in your 17. He's got to go.

How Hunt played yesterday was exactly the game I thought he would have last week, so sucks for Rhino but yeah, somewhat vindicated.

I’ll have look next week but it’s not looking fantastic to be honest. The minutes are just not there so he needs some attacking stats to get moving.
I’m not overly convinced on Brailey either but a solid 40 points per week might be better than a 60 followed by a couple of stinkers. Probably same net result but the money from the trade (if there’s any left) might be useful bumping points up somewhere else.

Moving Cheese on really depends on what fires get lit later on in the round. The ideal would be not to have to play him every week.
