I currently just have Grant, so I really should get some hooker cover. I have plenty of mids, but they are mostly a bit shit and like the idea of a borderline keeper in Jolliffe, at what should still be hopefully 100k discount.

Current Mids: Curran, Fainu, Salmon, Smithies, TMay.

Definitely trading out May, contemplating Smithies. Plath is coming in. If Smithies out it would be for Jolliffe. Otherwise hold Smithies and trade someone else for Brailey

Smithies & Body-Slam are definite outs IMO.
I picked up Plath last week for May, Smithies became Jolliffe this week.
I'm running JMK (have held him from week 1) and picked up Brailey for Lussick last week.

You can't go wrong with either option.
If Max Plath scores 50 he costs you $30k more next week.
If Brailey scores 50, he will cost you $35k more.
If Jolliffe scores 50 he'll cost you $22k more.

Unless one them goes large its a numbers game.

Anyone worried about playing Piakura in 17. I barely trust him to score above 30 after last week. Then again I've got a smorgasbord of shittos that could do the same

Does it matter? With my track record, Plath gets 40 minutes, and early edge injury moves Bateman back to second row and Armstrong plays so dramatically shit that Sharpe gets fast-tracked into fullback for the Knights next week, whoever the fuck I bring in is immediately doomed to their worst case scenario because I had the fucking gall to try and play this stupid fucking game

    No joking.

Weekes/Armstrong/Atkinson I'm thinking in the order written.

Weekes - scored well in a side that probably won't get pounded like that again and points were base but history doesn't full with confidence

Armstrong - looked good, ran hard but probably doesn't score tries and attacking stats every game

Atkinson - plays in a good side and should get attacking stats but considering they pumped raiders didn't do heaps.

    Would like other opinions

I think the club team comes into it.

Canberra have a bye next week, and then in R14 share a bye with Dolphins and Roosters.
Although divestment has started to occur, a lot of teams will have more than 4 total players from those clubs, so bringing another one in is risky. that's the main thing putting me off Weekes. In isolation he looks a solid pick

Armstrong has a good draw for the next month or so, and has a good bye schedule, so personally I prefer him over Weekes.

Atkinson has the worst scoring potential - with "the guy next to Hynes' not being a traditionally high scoring position. Although he may still score well for his price - he's 3rd out of 3 for the guys you mentioned

yes i'm playing him & i'm worried about his mt's & defense but i'm not worried about attack where he's very good hole runner who can offload.

Losing Cleary this week has made it difficult as now it almost feels like I MUST bring in Hynes to partner with SJ. May to Plath is locked in but I’m tossing up either Hynes and Laban in or forget Hynes and bring in Bateman and Garrick/Brailey instead. Smithies and Cheese are the other trade outs. Which way should I go?

Seems like shuffling deck chairs anywhere is just a silly idea

If I am sitting on a deckchair where I am staring directly in the sun - then I will happily move to a different deckchair where such a thing is no longer a problem. Even if its just a regular bunnings deckchair, and not a fancy deckchair that does all its teams kicking.

I think a lot in the same boat with a combo of Garrick and Brailey or a cheapie and a gun. It's a gut call but may come down to your team depth too.

As his real life manager, I am ordering Terrell May to play 60 minutes this weekend. If he doesn't listen to his manager's instructions, he's going to be cut.

I would definitely not go with any option that includes Laban.

But then are you actually shuffling the deckchairs or are you shuffling between deckchairs? Maybe if you moved the one you were sitting in to a better spot (e.g. the spot where you get to kick 700mt & the sun doesn't shine into your eyes) replacing the incumbent.

Haha, I was clearly taking the piss mate.

But Ive been where syn is before with the game. It can be consuming and crazy how much it can get to you so you're right. Sometimes just gotta put the phone away for a bit and remember it's supposed to be fun.

I mean, if you want blunt honesty? No i’m not, trying to push through lifelong MDD and GAD with the amount of bad desicions I make and bad luck I have is beyond exhausting, so yeh, when I can’t even get these meaningless small things to fall my way it can quickly turn into the straw that breaks the camel’s back when it’s thrown on top of all the other negative shit already constantly swirling around in my head.
