Anyone think maybe Carty is going to be used in the Hands role?

For some reason I seem to remember him playing there off the bench. Could be wrong

Related. Harry Kane. Hard not to feel sorry for him at this point.

If he wanted to win trophies, he should have stayed with his boyhood club: Arsenal.

I get it in soccer, but in a salary cap sport… it’s complicated I guess and can’t blame players at all, just feels like there has to be some incentive for marquee players to try and build success rather than take pay cuts to move to successful clubs. Comp hasn’t felt this uneven since the 80s for me.

Cheers mate.  Im torturing myself for 80 minutes every week.  He stays for me, I'm a sucker for punishment.

Nice you are in the position to trade him though.

Laughing According to Wikipedia, "Kane joined the Arsenal youth academy when he was eight years old. He was released after one season for being "a bit chubby" and not "very athletic", according to Liam Brady who was then in charge of Arsenal's academy." Cutthroat coming through the ranks these days...

I think Fifita is actually getting a raise...he signed an extension to his original deal in early 2023 which was worth far less (around $800k) than his original $1.1 a season. I think the whole $1m man stuff floating around at the moment may be BS.

Having trouble deciding on my third trade out. Anyone want to weigh in? Think I have the possible trade outs in this order:

Salmon - Shouldn't lose too much this week, but likely trade out in the near future with Preston back. Could drop to bench in late mail.
Chan - Saved his score with a try R8, and a TS/TO R9. How long can he keep that up? BE still low enough to hold.
Piakura - Traded him back in in R8 so makes me want to hold him a bit longer. Still think he's got a fair bit of value.
Chester - Red dot, due back round 13, but hamstrings are niggly. Likely still at least 5 points of value, maybe closer to 10.
Cheese - Very disappointing last couple of rounds, but most likely to go well on this list. Want to hold to R14.

Ehhhh, If it was me probably Chester or Salmon

At least you can play Cheese in Round 13 for a few points, not like he's going to lose a huge chunk of cash

I have Salmon and Piakura in EMG. Was going to sell both but both 22 BE I think. If you have 3 Raiders and Papy like me you can stick 4 players in EMG and let them play and not make trade until the 3rd to last game which I find quite relaxing. My main targets are all in the last 3 games so I'll use Papy and Mariota as trade outs if need be

I'm doing similar with Hughes, Salmon and Talagi. Just have to nail the right order somehow lol.
