KPP's been good for fantasy, TBs and offloads, but not sure he's been that great. The loss of Ponga hurts too. If he's benched for Friz and Lucas, then he's overpriced and I've got no problems jumping off to a legitimate captain option in Yeo or Haas.

    Just found the post.

Specifically mentions two weeks rest but also says keeping him fresh for the second half of the season

I only trust Peter Lang for my Knights news these days.

Someone mentioned it here but if Chev is out, it's probably because there's no Fog and he wants an experienced player in his spine somewhere. Makes sense too really. Maybe if Fog wasn't injured Rapa would play wing, but we'll never know.

In a season where injuries are causing players to drop like flies, I think a prudent way to help manage trades would be to not make assumptions like a fit Clint Gutherson playing centre.

Speaking of assumptions - there's not reason to assume a man with chronic knee deterioration returns to his earlier standards of NRL match fitness.

Completely agree. Couldn't beleive there was people knee-jerk trading him out this week given the state of affairs on trades and injuries

Seen nothing recent to suggest Papy is out beyond rd 14, might just hold

I sold after Cronk on Matty Johns podcast last week (look, don't judge me for listening. I do far more pathetic things than that) said he'd heard maybe 2 months and definitely needed surgery.

    Hey all, please read:

Wee reminder that as much as we love NRL Fantasy, its just a game.
We joke about it but if you are struggling and the constant injuries, poor scores etc are really getting to you then you can think about stepping away from the forum/game for a few days.
Monday-Wednesday is the time to do it too.

Solid advice Filth. No Thursday game this week, so will be even more of a drag.

At least we'll see Sharks 24 hour cut on Friday 5:30pm AEST before locking in VC/C at 6pm, assuming Hynes is even named tomorrow.

They could be more transparent with theses things, even non fantasy fans might like to know.

Betting agencies probably have a bigger stake than fantasy fans in this knowledge (both in number of people that care, and financial interest)

if they can't force anything to happen, then us lowly fantasy nerds have no chance.

Its hard to police though - if a club says a player is out for 2 weeks, and then 2 weeks later claim there has been a setback and 2 more weeks are needed, who decides if information is accurate or not.

Personally, I think Ricky was giving him "two weeks rest" from playing, not specifically from playing NRL.

I think if Fog had not been injured, Chevy might stay at fb, but with two kids in the halves, Ricky will go for experience at fullback until Fog is back

Harry Grant said in the pre-game interview on Saturday that paps had already had surgegy earlier in the week and was up and about with the team walking aroung without issue and feeling really positive.

Aware that doesnt really mean anything as to how long it'll take to be NRL ready again though.. with his history they might give him a few more weeks beyond when he's 'officially cleared' too.

Don't think Rapana can get through another 7-8 rounds at fullback. Chevy will be back sooner I reckon but don't have the luxury to hold red dots like that.

Some rank/score updates coming through on desktop.

Teddy and Angus +1, reflected in overall score/rank, but not on teamview yet.

I'm reading reports that SJ was injured from the Keary tackle.

Anyone who watched the game surely saw SJ was struggling with a pec/shoulder before the incident? Maybe it resulted in worsening the injury but to report it was due to the Keary tackle seems incorrect.
