Personally, I think Ricky was giving him "two weeks rest" from playing, not specifically from playing NRL.
I think if Fog had not been injured, Chevy might stay at fb, but with two kids in the halves, Ricky will go for experience at fullback until Fog is back
Don't think Rapana can get through another 7-8 rounds at fullback. Chevy will be back sooner I reckon but don't have the luxury to hold red dots like that.
That's why I traded Talag out when he was first dropped.
Assumed he'd get a run at some point, but wasn't prepared to wait for it to happen.
Got a bit of luck with the Gutherson injury getting him in early in a high scoring position. Chevy may or may not be as lucky - who knows he may get picked tomorrow and owners can just relax

I will simply trade Mikaele back to Chevy in a few weeks time when Mikaele goes back to cup and Rapana breaks, for about 50k profit

Extra pt for Angus and Drink at lockout lifting for my overall rank by 2, up to 10598th
This time last season was going from ~4k in R8 to inside the top 1000. This year going from ~4K at R8 to outside the top 10000

My eyes don’t need to be crossing paths with an injured icon next to Armstrong’s name.
Does this mean he might not have passed the hia?

I could have sworn Ricky said after round 8 that he was giving Chevy a rest for a week, then realised they had a bye the next week and said (paraphrasing): "Oh I guess it'll be 2 weeks then".Milchcow wrote:
I don't tink Rickey ever specified a 2 week rest.
Just thath he'd have a rest and be back at some point, and fantasy coaches just assumed 2 weeks to justify the hold.

I think it's just standard when they're listed in the casualty ward and status isn't known by nrl.com staff.
Has been others that were fine to play. I think even Rapana when he got the HIA and came back on with a minute left showed up as injured after lockout.

R12 going to be ugly with 3 Knights, Bateman and Chevy + the 2 guaranteed injuries I’m going to get this week
Please don’t make me hold Piakura for the 15 points. After early trades this week I would have enough funds for Chevy to someone like Wighton if half/Moale or Bateman to another gun

Armstrong with the injured icon is a worry. I guess we'll know more once team lists come out tomorrow.
Early trade options are Piakura > Weekes (always planned to do this)
Cleary > Yeo.
Hynes can stay in the starting 13, Galvin on the bench for cover.
I'll be able to field 17, but it's looking dire.
Down to 14 trades.

While it's quiet think it's time to start looking at round 13
Mahoney/Brailey
Smithies, Matterson, ???
Angus, KPP
Hynes, Walker
Iro, Russell/Strange
May, Russell/Weekes, Armstrong
Assuming Hynes goes to Origin if fit I'll be able to squeeze out 12 + whatever mid I trade in. Sorensen the only one I like atm but 2 weeks is a long time in fantasy.
Would like to flip Piakura before then but he is my only real trade bait to grab another mid

Rd13 for me currently looking like this.
Brailey
Plath Matto Sorensen
Angus KPP
Hynes Brown
Iro Kris
Tracey Armstrong Weekes
Salmon Chevy (both likely to be gone beforehand)
Already counting out Hynes in my mind. Was hopeful Chevy would stick around and Weekes would take Hynes spot. Wont be forcing in anymore questionable guys just to field 13 that's for sure.
