My round 13 team atm

Plath, Curran, Shughes
Angus, KPP
Hynes, DBrown
Iro, Strange
Kiraz, Armstrong, Weekes

with Atkinson to fill in for Nicho

I cant believe I have 15 trades left, have barely managed to field a full team for weeks, still have the byes and origin ahead, team still looks like turd.

I can't remember a worse season.

I'm thinking about reverting to the 'put the vc on your second best player' tactic and forgetting about the early round lockout shenanigans

What a mess last round was. Trying to deal with Cheese and Hynes news while been out wasnt fun and ended up stuffing it up and only playing with 16. Only missed out on 8 points though. I thought of the perfect trades when i got home and it was too late.
Only positive ive got 13 for rd 13 not including Hynes and Gus so im just gonna have to be strong and hold trades for a few rounds unless there are more injuries

Round 13 I will have:

Robson
Shoes McInnes* ??
KPP Angus
SWalker Weekes/Hynes*
Iro Penisini
Armstrong Kris Kiraz

* If not picked for Origin.

Looking at picking up Matto and or Sorenson in coming weeks to fill in MID.

I can watch video content or podcasts if the presenter warrants being a presenter. The old credentials and best for the role has just been thrown out, I know. And filler or dribble, I have most podcasts I listen to on 1.3 speed so it moves along at a reasonable pace.

I think Weekes is worth bringing in. Kris can be moved on after Rd 13 and not sure SWalker is all that underpriced to be worth it.

Also, maybe I'm on another planet, but I have no idea why McInnes would be picked for origin.

On reflection I’ve definitely made a bunch of errors the last few weeks

- can’t tell TerMay was going to score 2 tries and hit a 70BE but moving him to Plath is sideways at best. Needed to get a gun or a cow
- Drinkwater over Teddy because R13/14/16 is thinking too far ahead. Ignoring a 570k Teddy was criminal
- got greedy on bringing Cleary straight back. Had Hynes as captain could’ve waited a week
- ignoring Jolliffe when Des Hasler loves a big minute plodder eg Tolman. Not saying I should’ve even bought him in, but at least considered it

I can’t see McInnes being anywhere near Origin either. Jurbo looked a better dummy half cover on the weekend, had a nice pass the big fella

Yeah he just makes a lot of tackles.. finishes games with his head bandaged and blood all over a blue jersey.. Reminds me of when origin was good in the 90s.

I think avoiding DBrown was a mistake too tbh. Good history even alongside Moses.

Let’s say McInnes is not picked for Origin and the plan is to hold Kris until 14, and I need Cheese to cover Brailey round 12, who does Weekes come in for? I’m planning on holding my few Origin players, so I suppose the best route is to await news of how the scans went for Bateman.

$829k to spend, mid needs fixing to avoid playing SHughes this week.

TU: Bring in a big boppa like AFB
TD: Bring in Matto, plays Rd 13 and at a discount. Other option could be Fainu.

McInnes I think defs plays origin

I think long term it will be far better playing a MID short in R13 than trading in someone who isn't a keeper just to get 1 week worth of scores.

Maybe a great cash cow will turn up, but I will not be forcing a player into my team if there isn't a long term use for them.
Odds are I'll get far better use out of my trade replacing an injured player late in the season.

Madge has a relationship with McInnes from South Sydney days too which might play into it
